*📰Chisora’s Retirement Hangs in the Balance as Wardley Issues Bold Challenge* Follow Our Channel✅ https://whatsapp.com/channel/0029VajOQ9lFXUue5OOd4s1L Group Link⛓️💥 https://chat.whatsapp.com/LZitWjdBLOOFUrxkAmUPDw Veteran heavyweight Derek Chisora finds himself at a career crossroads, as unbeaten British contender Fabio Wardley throws down the gauntlet for a high-stakes clash. Chisora, a fan-favourite known for his relentless fighting style and iron will, has long teased retirement after reaching 50 professional bouts. Now at 49 fights, the 40-year-old Zimbabwe-born Briton faces a crucial decision on whether to pursue one final chapter in the ring—or hang up the gloves. “I’ve always said 50 fights and I’m done,” Chisora previously remarked. “But in this game, you never really know what’s next.” One enticing option is a potential shot at the IBF heavyweight title. Chisora is currently the mandatory challenger for the belt, which is in the hands of Daniel Dubois. However, Dubois is expected to face Oleksandr Usyk in a blockbuster undisputed title showdown this July, leaving Chisora's title hopes in limbo. Meanwhile, rising star Fabio Wardley has stepped into the spotlight, publicly calling out Chisora in hopes of testing himself against one of the division’s most battle-hardened warriors. “I’ve got massive respect for Derek, but I want that fight,” Wardley said. “He’s shared the ring with the best, and if I’m going to prove I belong at the top, I need to beat someone like him.” Chisora’s storied career includes memorable battles against the likes of Tyson Fury, Dillian Whyte, Vitali Klitschko, and David Haye. Though he has never held a world title, his resume boasts notable victories over Otto Wallin, Joe Joyce, and Gerald Washington—cementing his status as one of the most durable and respected heavyweights of his era. Now, with his 50th fight on the horizon and new challenges emerging, Chisora must decide whether to chase glory one last time or step away on his own terms. “I’ll know when it’s time,” he said recently. “But until then, let’s see what the game has to offer.”

*📰MPs call for Pit Bull Terrier ban in Zimbabwe, say dog breed has become dangerous to people* Follow Our Channel✅ https://whatsapp.com/channel/0029VajOQ9lFXUue5OOd4s1L Group Link⛓️💥 https://chat.whatsapp.com/LZitWjdBLOOFUrxkAmUPDw DISTURBED by the deadly Pit Bull Terrier dogs’ vicious and fatal attack of a Harare resident recently, legislators want the breed banned in Zimbabwe. The Pit Bull Terrier, commonly known as Pitbull, is an aggressive type of canine. Members of Parliament (MPs) suggested to the Speaker Jacob Mudenda during a Question and Answer session this Wednesday that the dog breed known as Pitbull had become a threat to people’s lives as it is not wired to obey instructions like some of the breeds, hence, it should be banned in the country. The call comes barely a fortnight after a man was mauled to death by the terrifying dogs in Bluff Hill, Harare. Zanu PF Goromonzi West MP Biata Beatrice Karimatsenga- Nyamupinga raised concern over the pets-turned-killers. “When moving in the bush we fear being killed by wild animals but when we are moving in the residential areas there are dogs such as the Pitbull. “The Pitbull is killing people. That dog does not listen to instructions from the owner. What is the government policy on the keeping of animals, in particular dogs like the Pitbull? Responding to the question, Justice Minister Ziyambi Ziyambi, who is also Leader of Government Business in Parliament, said the law, through councils, clearly stated that a dog owner should have a licence. “That law clearly states the number of dogs which are allowed in each and every household in towns. In other areas there are no dogs which are allowed. “That is why the individual who kept a Pitbull which killed someone was arrested. The police apprehended him because it was against the law. The Pitbull needs a licence which is different from other types of dogs because it is a very vicious dog,” Ziyambi said. In her supplementary question, Karimatsenga-Nyamupinga, however, disputed that the licence itself was not enough to stop such deadly attacks seen in the past week. She highlighted that the Pitbull loses its memory, hence needs to be outlawed. “Yes, the licence can be there but we have that type of dog which loses its memory. What are we trying to say if we are allowing people to keep dogs which lose their memory? What are we trying to say about the lives of people?” the MP stated. Ziyambi told Mudenda that her question could only be responded to by the Veterinary Department, adding she should put the question in writing for further investigation from experts. “The government policy clearly indicates that for someone to keep dogs, they must be given a licence. If we want to go deeper on the types of licence and groups, it really needs to be written down so that we can go and consult the experts. “It will be easier for each and every individual in this august House and the rest of the country to understand the requirements needed to keep Pitbull dogs,” Ziyambi explained. Mudenda ordered the MP to put her question in writing, as it needed further clarification. Chinhoyi MP Leslie Mhangwa added his weight to the conversation. “lf we have somebody who has become a danger to the community, he is put in jail or put somewhere else. “The Pitbull as a breed has become a danger to the people of Zimbabwe. Is there anything that stops us from banning the breed within the country? I think this is the direction we need to move with.” The Speaker made a ruling that the question by Karimatsenga-Nyamupinga be put in writing and be dealt with next week. A Harare man, Samuel Machara was recently killed by Pitbulls owned by Mike Mupinga (40) of Bluff Hill in Harare, who was arrested and charged with culpable homicide. In 2022, a Bulawayo man from Selborne suburb was also bitten to death by his own canines. Twelve countries in Europe, as well as Australia, Canada, some parts of the United States, Ecuador, Malaysia, New Zealand, Puerto Rico, Singapore, and Venezuela, have enacted some form of breed-specific legislation on Pitbull-type dogs, including American Pit Bull Terriers, ranging from outright bans to restrictions and conditions on ownership. Several states in Australia place restrictions on the breed, including mandatory sterilisation. Pitbulls are banned in the United Kingdom, in the Canadian province of Ontario, and in many locations in the United States. _*NewZimbabwe*_

*📰2027 is too late – CNRG urges govt to immediately ban export of lithium concentrates* Follow Our Channel✅ https://whatsapp.com/channel/0029VajOQ9lFXUue5OOd4s1L Group Link⛓️💥 https://chat.whatsapp.com/LZitWjdBLOOFUrxkAmUPDw The Centre for Natural Resources Governance (CNRG) has implored the government to take immediate action and ban the exportation of lithium concentrate, rather than waiting until 2027 to implement the proposed policy. This follows the government’s announcement yesterday that lithium concentrate exports will be banned from January 2027. In a statement issued on Wednesday, CNRG stressed the importance of prompt action, arguing that delaying the ban would only provide smugglers with further opportunities to plunder the country’s natural resources without facing any repercussions. “As CNRG, we view this urgent reform as being delayed into irrelevance. We stress that the ban should be implemented immediately to prevent further depletion of our natural capital due to unchecked lithium exploitation, which has devastating socio-economic and environmental implications,” CNRG stated. The organisation further urged the government to address the issue of porous borders, which have allowed some lithium to be smuggled into South Africa and Mozambique without any benefit to Zimbabwe “Zimbabwe’s lithium wealth risks being squandered, as unchecked exports, weak regulation, and opaque deals undermine its potential for industrial transformation.” “Already, allegations of lithium smuggling across porous borders into South Africa and Mozambique raise concerns regarding corruption and illicit mineral and financial flows. “Unverified reports indicate that up to 3,000 tons of lithium ore leave the country daily—a staggering total of 1.62 million tons over the past 18 months—with minimal accountability, little benefit to the state, and no protection for affected communities.” During a post-cabinet media briefing in Harare yesterday, Mines Minister Winston Chitando said the government will ban the exportation of lithium ore as part of an effort to promote value addition and ensure that the country comprehensively benefits from its natural resources. “Cabinet reaffirmed the ban on the export of chrome ores and stressed the need to develop the ferrochrome industry locally. The Ministry of Mines and Mining Development will strengthen the implementation of the ‘use it or lose it’ principle, and holders of all unutilised mining titles, particularly chrome, are requested to take note of the Government’s position,” Chitando said. He added that Bikita Minerals and Arcadia Lithium are in the process of establishing lithium sulphate value addition facilities to beneficiate locally produced lithium ores. From January 2027 onwards, the export of lithium concentrate will no longer be permitted. Lithium plays a crucial role in the clean energy transition due to its essential function in energy storage. It is a key component in lithium-ion batteries, which power electric vehicles (EVs) and facilitate large-scale energy storage systems for renewable energy sources.

*📰UPDATE | Constable Ndavambi Arrested After Death in Custody* Follow Our Channel✅ https://whatsapp.com/channel/0029VajOQ9lFXUue5OOd4s1L Group Link⛓️💥 https://chat.whatsapp.com/LZitWjdBLOOFUrxkAmUPDw ZRP has confirmed the arrest of Constable Prince Ndavambi, who had been on the run following the death of 30-year-old Blessed Believe Juruvenge. Ndavambi was named the main suspect in a murder investigation launched after Juruvenge died on May 28 — a day after he was allegedly severely assaulted while in police custody at ZRP Ruwa. Juruvenge, a tuck-shop owner and pirate taxi driver from Damafalls, was arrested on May 27 by Constable Ndavambi and a complainant identified as Mwazha. The arrest followed a report that Juruvenge had assaulted Mwazha during a dispute over a counterfeit US$50 note used at his shop. According to police records, after the arrest, Ndavambi allegedly beat Juruvenge and his sister Melisa Manyepa with a wooden stick while demanding the repayment of US$100. He reportedly threatened to kill them if the money wasn’t returned. Juruvenge lost consciousness during the assault and was dragged back into the holding cells. Later that night, a duty officer found him struggling to breathe. He was taken to Ruwa Rehabilitation Centre, where he died the following morning. After the death, Ndavambi fled, prompting a nationwide manhunt. Police have now confirmed his arrest. Commissioner-General Stephen Mutamba stated that justice will be pursued without fear or favour. Meanwhile, two post-mortem examinations have been carried out after the family raised concerns about inconsistencies in the initial report. The investigation is still ongoing. Crime Watch

*📰Missing Budiriro Baby Found And Reunited With Parents* Follow Our Channel✅ https://whatsapp.com/channel/0029VajOQ9lFXUue5OOd4s1L Group Link⛓️💥 https://chat.whatsapp.com/LZitWjdBLOOFUrxkAmUPDw An 11-month-old baby, who mysteriously disappeared on Saturday in Budiriro, Harare, sparking fears of a kidnapping, has been found. The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) confirmed the positive development in a brief statement posted on X, announcing that the missing infant has been located and reunited with his parents. However, the ZRP statement did not disclose the location or circumstances of the child’s discovery, nor did it provide any information regarding the woman allegedly involved in the toddler’s disappearance. The ZRP statement reads: Reference is made to a viral social media post regarding a 11-month-old infant who went missing after being kidnapped by an unknown suspect in Budiriro on 07/06/25. The ZRP reports that the missing infant has been located and has been reunited with the parents. Earlier, the child’s mother, Future Bonga, revealed that the alleged kidnapper, known only as Chihera, was a regular customer at their tuck shop. She said: This lady used to buy at our tuck shop. I have known her for the past three months. She never said her name, so I used to call her Chihera. On Saturday, she bought something in the morning and left her change. I went home in the afternoon, and she came to my house to collect her change. I then rushed to the tuck shop to collect the money and left her with my 11-month-old baby. When I returned, she pleaded with me to give her my child so that she could babysit and return him later. I agreed and asked her to leave her phone number and directions to her house. Later on, around 5 PM, I went to collect the baby, but when I arrived at the place, I asked to see Chihera, but I was told she doesn’t stay there and they do not know anybody who fits that description, even neighbours didn’t know her. We then filed a police report. The lady, however, once told me that she had never conceived in her lifetime.
