অনন্ত (Infinity) অবিনশ্বর শিব ... খড়গপুরের বিখ্যাত প্রাচীন নন্ডেশ্বর শিব মন্দিরে বাবার পূজার্চনা। মন্দিরে বাবার আরতির সময় ডমরু বা ডুগডুগি বাজিয়ে পূজা করা হল। সৃষ্টির সূচনা কালে সরস্বতী উৎপন্ন হওয়ার পর বীণার স্বরে সৃষ্টিতে ধ্বনির জন্ম দেন। কিন্তু এই ধ্বনি সুর ও সঙ্গীত ছাড়া ছিল। সে সময় নৃত্যরত শিব ১৪ বার ডমরু বাজান। আর এই ধ্বনি দিয়েই ব্যাকরণ ও সঙ্গীতের ধন্দ, তালের জন্ম হয়।
