In the Greater Bushenyi region, in Sheema District, police arrested Ahimbisibwe Naboth, a 51-year-old male, and Ntoreine Reagan, a 19-year-old male, both residents of Kamurinda Cell, Runyinya Parish, Kigarama Subcounty. It is alleged that on the night of January 31, 2025, around 9:00PM, Ntoreine Reagan had a quarrel with his wife, Namaganda Mariam, which escalated into a physical altercation. During this incident, Mariam fled to a neighbor's house, leaving their three-month-old baby in bed. When she returned the following morning, she discovered that the baby had died. The body has been transported to Kabwohe Health Centre IV Mortuary for a postmortem examination. We condemn the actions of turning targeting the innocent infant.Addressing domestic violence requires a collaborative effort. Change begins with open dialogue, seeking help, and promoting peaceful conflict resolution. We urge families and communities to act before tragedy strikes. Justice must prevail. Together, we can break the cycle. #EndDomesticViolence #JusticeForTheInnocent #UYESFForChange
