In the Greater Bushenyi region, in Sheema District, police arrested Ahimbisibwe Naboth, a 51-year-old male, and Ntoreine Reagan, a 19-year-old male, both residents of Kamurinda Cell, Runyinya Parish, Kigarama Subcounty.
It is alleged that on the night of January 31, 2025, around 9:00PM, Ntoreine Reagan had a quarrel with his wife, Namaganda Mariam, which escalated into a physical altercation. During this incident, Mariam fled to a neighbor's house, leaving their three-month-old baby in bed. When she returned the following morning, she discovered that the baby had died.
The body has been transported to Kabwohe Health Centre IV Mortuary for a postmortem examination.
