Let Us Read: Neh 1:4 Then, after hearing these words, for some days I gave myself up to weeping and sorrow, seated on the earth; and taking no food I made prayer to the God of heaven, *What If Your Unprayed Prayers Are Holding You Back?* Where you are today is the result of the prayers you prayed yesterday—and also the prayers you didn’t pray. Think about that. And where you will be tomorrow? It’s being shaped by the prayers you choose to pray today—or the ones you neglect to pray. Many of us find ourselves in situations we don’t understand—battling delays, disappointments, and doors that refuse to open. But could it be that some of these struggles exist because of prayers left unprayed? Have we allowed distractions, frustrations, or even our own sins to hinder us from pressing into the presence of God? The Bible makes it clear: “If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. But if we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” (1 John 1:8-9) There are many ways we fall short—through arrogance, ingratitude, complaining, unforgiveness, and even withholding what belongs to God. *GIVE THANKS* *1 Thessalonians 5:18* Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus. In this verse, Paul exhorts us to give thanks in all circumstances. He adds that it is God's will to do so. Regardless of how difficult our circumstances may be, we can find reasons to thank God...Rememberyourlifedidn'tbeginwiththecurrentcircumstances, you have had better days that you can be thankful for. We can be thankful that all things work together for our good if we belong to HIm (Romans 8:28). We can be thankful that God's grace is sufficient to sustain us in every circumstance (2 Corinthians 12:9). We can be thankful that nothing can separate us from God's love (Romans 8:37–39). We can be thankful that God even supports us spiritually when trials produce difficulty in our prayer life (Romans 8:26). Rough circumstances also prove the genuineness of our faith (1 Peter 1:6–7). Paul previously wrote to "Rejoice always" (1 Thessalonians 5:16). *Joy is not the same thing as happiness*. In a similar way, Scripture notes the difference between giving thanks "for" our circumstances, as opposed to giving thanks "in" our circumstances. For example, a car wreck may not find us giving thanks for a twisted fender and smashed radiator, but we can give thanks that we have insurance and a God who is always present with us. We may not thank God for an illness, but we can be thankful for medicines and doctors. Persecution is not something we would be thankful for, but we can be thankful that God can use that hardship for our eternal benefit..... *Be strong and courageous to trust God and be thankful*... *The Valley of Dry Bones - A Message of Hope and Renewal** *Ezekiel 37:1-14* Beloved, today we find ourselves in the valley of dry bones with the prophet Ezekiel. It’s a place that feels all too familiar—a place of despair, brokenness, and hopelessness. The bones are dry, scattered, and lifeless, representing the areas in our lives where we feel defeated, where dreams have withered, and where hope seems lost. But in this valley, God asks Ezekiel a profound question: *"Son of man, can these bones live?"* Ezekiel, in his humility, responds, *"O Lord God, You know."* And friends, this is where our hope begins—not in our own strength or understanding, but in the sovereignty and power of God. God commands Ezekiel to prophesy to the bones, and as he obeys, something miraculous happens. The bones come together, sinews and flesh appear, and breath enters them. What was once dead is now alive, a vast army standing tall. This is the power of God’s Word—it brings life where there is death, hope where there is despair, and restoration where there is brokenness. Perhaps you’re in your own valley of dry bones today. Maybe it’s a relationship that seems beyond repair, a dream that feels out of reach, or a season of life that has left you weary and discouraged. Hear this: God is not done with you. Just as He breathed life into those dry bones, He can breathe new life into your situation. He can restore what seems lost and revive what feels dead. The key is to trust in His promises and speak His Word over your life. Declare His truth over your dry bones: *"I am loved. I am chosen. I am not forgotten. God is working all things together for my good."* And just as Ezekiel obeyed, we too must step out in faith, believing that God can do the impossible. So today, let this story remind you: no matter how dry or lifeless your valley may seem, God is the God of resurrection. He specializes in bringing life out of death. Trust Him, lean into His Word, and watch as He breathes His Spirit into every area of your life. May you be encouraged, knowing that your dry bones can live again. Amen.
