Saturday, 17 May 2025 Happening now Most wanted cash-in-transit and murder suspects fatally wounded during a shootout with the police in Boksburg, Ekurhuleni. Firearms that include AK-47 rifle recovered. The suspects are linked to cases in Gauteng and Kwa-Zulu Natal Provinces. Tragedy in Mayfair π₯π€ Four children have sadly lost their lives in a devastating fire at a home-based crΓ¨che on 8th Street, Mayfair. The blaze broke out around 11AM β reportedly after a heating device was used to keep the children warm. Vision Tactical teams rushed to the scene alongside @CityofJoburgEMS & @SAPoliceService & will remain on site as investigations continue. Forensic teams are currently recovering the young victims while heartbroken families & shocked community members look on. Itβs believed six children were being cared for at the time, two survived, along with the childminder. This tragedy raises serious questions about safety and legality at unregistered childcare facilities. Our deepest condolences go out to the affected families during this unimaginable time.

Via Dasen Thathia Two suspects have been shot dead in a gun battle with police in Boksburg. In a joint operation with their Gauteng counterparts, KZN police tracked down the men who are linked to a cash in transit robbery in Mandeni this month. A security guard was killed in that incident. A short while ago, teams from KZN, Gauteng PIU, Gauteng PES Flexi, Counter-intelligence head office, SAPS National CI Counter & Security, Anti Kidnapping, and security partners from Vision Tactical, Magma and Fidelity SIU, found the pair at their hideout.
