Life has a core which is based on the ethics and objectives of life — everything else is a part. Though each part has an impact, it is not solely responsible for the outright growth in one's life. Wealth, education, marriage, travel, lavish food — these do make life enjoyable but aren't there people who are happy and content while spending less, eating what's the needful, learning what's required, etcetera. Let's learn to live with what's there and try improving without complaining and pressuring others to do what is out of their control. I do not mean that we should discard the parts but that they must never be approached as a whole. This makes life very benevolent.

Getting married is easy (well, relatively easier!), staying married is difficult, and staying happily married is even more difficult. — Mufti Muhammad Ibn Adam

You can fix plenty of your issues by just fixing your listlessness. Begin with making a list!

Every time we blame, we victimize. Every time we victimize, we blame. The blame/victimize game creates a vicious circle that generates a lot of contagious, negative energy in the working world. It is very counterproductive, and also very common in many of today's corporate environments. Solid leaders commit to reducing blame and victimizing in the work setting. — Linda McLyman, _Wise Leadership_, p. 90

Give children the task of distributing food, clothing etc to the poor people. Similarly, give them the task of distributing food to their brothers, sisters & other children. This is so that it will inculcate the practice of generosity in them. — Mawlānā Thānwī

Life is a scary journey — a combination of ups & downs. What is past is past but essentially something that makes our present. The present serves as the foundation stone of the future. Be wise in spending your "present". The more productive the present, the more fruitful the future would be.

Maulana Taha Karaan wasn't alone in this endeavor, his elder brother Prof Muhammad Karaan was equally a visionary academic who served at Stellenbosch University — all while being a truthful haafiz of the Qur'an.
