_*Exhortation Pills: Drop Every Weight, Pt. 3*_ _✍️ By Rev. Stephen Dadedzi_ _🗓️ Day 140 (20/May/2025)_ > Hebrews 12:1 NKJV Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us. In this final part of our series, we continue to expose the subtle but serious weights that pull believers back from fully following Jesus. If we are to run this race effectively, we must confront and release these last two. *5. The Weight of Approval Addiction:* Living for the applause of men can quickly silence the voice of God in your life. When your choices are governed by how people perceive you, rather than what pleases God, you’ll constantly be double-minded. Paul said, “If I still pleased men, I would not be a bondservant of Christ” (Galatians 1:10). Drop the craving for validation—God’s ‘well done’ is all that matters. *6. The Weight of Busyness:* Many believers are drowning spiritually because they’ve said yes to too many things. Ministry, work, family, social demands—without margin, there's no time to pray, rest, or hear from God. Jesus often withdrew to solitary places (Luke 5:16). If the Savior needed quiet time, so do we. Simplify. Prioritize. Protect your walk. _🙏 Prayer:_ Lord, help me to live for Your approval, not man’s, and to wisely steward my time. Teach me to slow down and stay close to You. In Jesus’ name, Amen. _✝️ Are You Saved?_ Enjoy God's gift of eternal life by accepting Jesus Christ into your heart today. _*Exhortation Pills: Drop Every Weight, Pt. 2*_ _✍️ By Rev. Stephen Dadedzi_ _🗓️ Day 139 (19/May/2025)_ > Hebrews 12:1 NKJV Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us. A runner in a marathon does not carry extra baggage—every ounce matters. Likewise, in our spiritual race, certain attitudes and habits can weigh us down and make us ineffective. Yesterday, we examined the weight of excessive phone use and indiscipline. Today, we continue with two more: *3. The Weight of Offense and Unforgiveness:* Many are stuck spiritually, not because they don’t pray or fast, but because their hearts are filled with bitterness. Offense is a silent killer—it poisons your spirit and blocks the flow of God’s grace. Jesus taught us to forgive endlessly (Matthew 18:21-22). Until you drop the offense, you cannot rise spiritually. *4. The Weight of Procrastination:* Spiritual procrastination sounds like this: “I will pray tomorrow,” “I will fast next week,” or “I will start reading my Bible soon.” These delays slowly kill your spiritual fire. The longer you postpone obedience, the colder your spirit becomes. God moves with those who act promptly (Ecclesiastes 11:4). _🙏 Prayer:_ Lord, I release every hurt and offense from my heart. Help me to walk in forgiveness and to obey You promptly without delay. Strengthen me to run this race without excuses. In Jesus’ name, Amen. _✝️ Are You Saved?_ Enjoy God's gift of eternal life by accepting Jesus Christ into your heart today. _*Exhortation Pills: Hear, O Israel!*_ _✍️ By Rev. Stephen Dadedzi_ _🗓️ Day 143 (23/May/2025)_ > Deuteronomy 6:4-5 NKJV Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one! You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength. Deuteronomy 6:4-5 was spoken by Moses to the people of Israel as they prepared to enter the Promised Land. This command was not just a call to obedience but an invitation into deep, covenantal love with the one true God. It reminded Israel of God's uniqueness and required their complete devotion in response to His faithfulness. *1. Love God with all your heart:* To love God with all your heart means giving Him the throne of your spirit. It's choosing Him above all affections and loyalties. In a world full of distractions, our heart must beat for God first (Proverbs 4:23). *2. Love God with all your soul:* Our soul is the essence of who we are—our mind, will, and personality. Loving God with all your soul means aligning your identity and purpose with His will. It’s a daily surrender to live not just for ourselves, but for His glory (Matthew 16:25-26). *3. Love God with all your strength:* This speaks to loving God with our abilities, energy, and resources. It's about giving your best effort to serve Him—not in mere words, but through action. Whether it’s in work, ministry, or relationships, we honor God when we pour ourselves into what He calls us to do (Colossians 3:23-24). _🙏 Prayer:_ Lord, help me to love You with all my heart, soul, and strength. May my entire being reflect my devotion to You. Teach me to hear You, obey You, and walk in the fullness of Your love every day. In Jesus' name, Amen. _✝️ Are You Saved?_ Enjoy God's gift of eternal life by accepting Jesus Christ into your heart today. _*Exhortation Pills: Let Love Lead!*_ _✍️ By Rev. Stephen Dadedzi_ _🗓️ Day 141 (21/May/2025)_ > I Corinthians 16:14 NKJV Let all that you do be done with love. In a world driven by selfish ambition, fear, and pride, it’s easy to react from the flesh instead of walking in love. But for the believer, love must be the compass that guides every word, thought, and action. When love leads, Christ is revealed. *1. Love Inspires Selfless Living:* When love is at the center, we serve and give without expecting anything in return. Just as Jesus laid down His life for us, we are called to walk in that same sacrificial love (John 15:13). *2. Love Guards Against Offense:* The love of God empowers us to forgive, to overlook faults, and to be slow to anger. It shields our hearts from bitterness and helps us maintain unity (Proverbs 10:12). *3. Love Reflects the Nature of God:* God is love. When we choose to love in difficult moments, we mirror His character and invite His presence into our relationships (1 John 4:7-8). _🙏 Prayer:_ Lord, teach me to let love lead in all I do. Help me walk in Your love daily—selfless, forgiving, and true. May my life reflect Your heart to those around me. In Jesus' name, Amen. _✝️ Are You Saved?_ Enjoy God's gift of eternal life by accepting Jesus Christ into your heart today. _*Exhortation Pills: Sent as Lambs Among Wolves*_ _✍️ By Rev. Stephen Dadedzi_ _🗓️ Day 145 (25/May/2025)_ > Luke 10:3 NKJV Go your way; behold, I send you out as lambs among wolves. Jesus spoke these words as He commissioned seventy of His followers to go ahead of Him and preach the Kingdom. This vivid imagery reveals the challenging nature of our calling. Lambs are gentle, vulnerable, and dependent, while wolves are fierce, cunning, and dangerous. Yet, Jesus intentionally sends His people into a world filled with hostility—fully aware of the risks. Why? Because His power is made perfect in our weakness. Here’s what this verse teaches us today: *1. Our mission is not always safe, but it is sacred:* Jesus never promised a risk-free journey. Like lambs, we will face opposition, criticism, and even danger. But we must not retreat. Being sent means we go with divine backing and purpose (Matthew 28:19–20). *2. We are called to embody the nature of the Lamb:* Though surrounded by "wolves," we are not to become like them. We are to walk in humility, love, and purity, reflecting Christ—the Lamb of God—in every interaction (Romans 12:21). *3. Our strength is in the Shepherd who sends us:* Jesus doesn't send us out alone. He watches over His own. The presence and power of the Good Shepherd go with us, guiding, protecting, and empowering us to succeed (Psalm 23:4). _🙏 Prayer:_ Lord, thank You for trusting me with Your mission. Though the world may be hostile, help me walk in boldness, humility, and love. Let me never forget that You are with me, even when I feel like a lamb among wolves. Amen. _✝️ Are You Saved?_ Enjoy God's gift of eternal life by accepting Jesus Christ into your heart today. _*Exhortation Pills: Build Inner Strength by Praying in the Spirit*_ _✍️ By Rev. Stephen Dadedzi_ _🗓️ Day 142 (22/May/2025)_ > Jude 1:20 NKJV But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit. We live in a world that constantly pulls on our emotions, drains our energy, and tests our faith. In such times, God has given us a powerful resource—praying in the Spirit. This divine gift strengthens us internally, empowers us spiritually, and keeps us aligned with God’s perfect will. Speaking in tongues is not a ritual; it is a lifeline for the believer. Here are three powerful ways praying in the Spirit builds your inner strength: *1. It Edifies Your Spirit:* Praying in tongues is like charging your spiritual battery. It strengthens your inner man and keeps your faith alive and vibrant (1 Corinthians 14:4). *2. It Aligns You with God’s Will:* When you don’t know what to pray, the Spirit intercedes through you, praying the perfect will of God. This brings peace, clarity, and divine direction (Romans 8:26-27). *3. It Cultivates Spiritual Sensitivity:* Regular praying in the Spirit sharpens your discernment and opens your spirit to hear God more clearly. It deepens your walk with the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 2:10). _🙏 Prayer:_ Father, thank You for the gift of speaking in tongues through Your Holy Spirit who dwells in me. Help me to continually use this powerful gift to build inner strength. In Jesus' name, Amen. _✝️ Are You Saved?_ Enjoy God's gift of eternal life by accepting Jesus Christ into your heart today. _*Exhortation Pills: God Renews Your Strength*_ _✍️ By Rev. Stephen Dadedzi_ _🗓️ Day 148 (28/May/2025)_ > Isaiah 40:31 NKJV But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint. Sometimes life feels overwhelming, and our strength runs low. Yet God invites us to wait on Him and promises to renew our strength. When we connect with Him through prayer and trust in His power, He lifts us up to overcome every challenge with supernatural strength. *1. Wait on the Lord in Prayer:* Prayer is how we wait actively on God, seeking His guidance and strength. As we pray, we align our hearts with His will and receive His peace in the waiting (See Psalm 27:14). *2. Receive Supernatural Strength:* God’s strength is beyond natural ability. When we depend on Him, He empowers us beyond our limits to face every situation victoriously (See 2 Corinthians 12:9). *3. Rise and Soar Above Your Challenges:* With God’s renewed strength, you will rise above difficulties like an eagle on the wind. You will run without exhaustion and walk without fainting, sustained by His grace (See Hebrews 12:1-2). _🙏 Prayer:_ Lord, teach me to wait on You in prayer and trust You for supernatural strength. Renew my spirit and help me rise above every challenge with confidence. Carry me on Your wings to victory. _*Exhortation Pills: You Possess a Higher Authority*_ _✍️ By Rev. Stephen Dadedzi_ _🗓️ Day 147 (27/May/2025)_ > Luke 10:19 NKJV Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you. When Jesus sent out seventy disciples to preach and heal, they returned amazed that even demons obeyed them in His name. In response, Jesus assured them that He had given them spiritual authority that superseded all demonic power. Luke 10:19 is a clear reminder to every believer that we are not powerless—we walk in divine authority delegated by Christ Himself. Archbishop Benson Idahosa of blessed memory, renowned for his bold faith, once entered a village known for heavy witchcraft activity. When confronted by voodoo priests, he declared, “The God who sent me is greater than all your powers combined!” That day, many gave their lives to Christ, miracles broke out, and demonic strongholds were shattered. Like the seventy, he knew what it meant to walk in the authority Christ had given. You too can begin to exercise that authority today. *1. You’ve Been Authorized by Christ:* Jesus didn't say He might give us authority—He has given it. This authority is not based on our titles, experience, or background but on our identity in Him. Stand firm in this truth when facing spiritual battles (Ephesians 2:6). *2. The Enemy is Beneath Your Feet:* “Serpents and scorpions” symbolize demonic opposition and attacks. Christ’s authority enables you to trample these forces, not negotiate with them. Declare your victory boldly when the enemy tries to intimidate (Romans 16:20). *3. Your Safety is Guaranteed:* “…and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” This promise is not the absence of attacks but the assurance of triumph. Walk with the confidence that divine backing surrounds you (Isaiah 54:17). _🙏 Prayer:_ Lord Jesus, thank You for giving me divine authority over all the power of the enemy. Help me to walk in boldness, knowing that I am backed by heaven. Teach me to exercise this authority daily, for Your glory. Amen. _✝️ Are You Saved?_ Enjoy God's gift of eternal life by accepting Jesus Christ into your heart today. _*Exhortation Pills: What God Says, He Is Able to Do*_ _✍️ By Rev. Stephen Dadedzi_ _🗓️ Day 146 (26/May/2025)_ > Romans 4:20-21 NKJV He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform. God is not like man. His words are never empty, and His promises are never broken. Abraham's life is a clear example of someone who dared to believe the impossible simply because God said it. When God speaks, delay does not mean denial, and impossibility is not in His vocabulary. *1. God’s Word Carries Creative Power:* In Genesis 1, God spoke, and creation responded. His Word is not just informative—it’s transformative. When He declares a promise over your life, that word begins working behind the scenes, even when you don't see it immediately (Isaiah 55:11). *2. God Is Faithful to His Character:* God cannot lie (Numbers 23:19). His promises are rooted in His unchanging nature. If He said it, He means it. Even when circumstances contradict the promise, His integrity remains the believer’s anchor (Hebrews 10:23). *3. God Specializes in Doing the Impossible:* Abraham and Sarah’s story reminds us that even when situations are dead—like Sarah’s womb—God can still bring life. He thrives where human strength ends, and His ability is not bound by time or logic (Luke 1:37). _🙏 Prayer:_ Father, I thank You that You are faithful and true. Help me to hold fast to Your promises without wavering. Strengthen my faith to trust that what You have said, You are fully able to do. In Jesus' name, Amen. _✝️ Are You Saved?_ Enjoy God's gift of eternal life by accepting Jesus Christ into your heart today. _*Exhortation Pills: Find Strength in Zion*_ _✍️ By Rev. Stephen Dadedzi_ _🗓️ Day 144 (24/May/2025)_ > Psalms 84:7 NKJV They go from strength to strength; Each one appears before God in Zion. Zion, prophetically, represents more than ancient Jerusalem—it speaks of God’s presence, the secret place where He meets with His people. For the believer, Zion is the realm of deep communion, the altar of prayer, and the atmosphere of divine strength. When life drains us and battles overwhelm us, the strength we need is not found in striving—but in returning to Zion. Here are three truths about finding strength in Zion: *1. Zion Is the Secret Place of Renewal:* Isaiah 40:31 tells us, “But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength.” This waiting happens in Zion—the quiet place of prayer. Strength is restored not through busyness but through beholding. In Zion, our weariness is exchanged for divine vitality. *2. Zion Is Where Weakness Meets Divine Power:* Psalm 20:2 says, “May He send you help from the sanctuary, and strengthen you out of Zion.” When we come to Zion in prayer, God sends supernatural help. The strength that flows from Zion is not ordinary—it lifts us above discouragement, delays, and even demonic resistance. *3. Zion Transforms Pilgrims into Warriors:* In Psalm 84:7, we see a journey of strength. As believers appear before God in Zion, they move “from strength to strength.” Zion doesn’t just refresh—it empowers. It molds us into overcomers, ready to fulfill our assignments with spiritual might. _🙏 Prayer:_ Lord, I draw near to Zion today—Your secret place of strength. Breathe new life into my weary spirit and empower me to keep moving forward. I receive divine strength for every battle and grace for every burden. In Jesus’ name, Amen. _✝️ Are You Saved?_ Enjoy God's gift of eternal life by accepting Jesus Christ into your heart today.
