This hadith teaches us that it is important for Muslims to listen and obey their prophet in order for them not make mistakes like those who came before them did. It also shows how much importance the Prophet ﷺ placed on following his commands and staying away from things that are forbidden in Islam. We should strive our best to follow his teachings so that we can be successful in this life and the hereafter.
The Prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam prohibited any type of intoxicant or alcoholic drink as it is forbidden in Islam. This hadith teaches us that we should always strive to work together with others in harmony while avoiding anything that could be harmful or damaging, such as alcohol
This hadith emphasizes on how important it is to be honest with oneself as well as with others, for it is a quality which will bring one closer to Allah. It also teaches us to learn from both sources -the Qur'an and sunnah - so we can become better Muslims who are honest in our words and deeds.
