This hadith teaches us that it is important for Muslims to listen and obey their prophet in order for them not make mistakes like those who came before them did. It also shows how much importance the Prophet ﷺ placed on following his commands and staying away from things that are forbidden in Islam. We should strive our best to follow his teachings so that we can be successful in this life and the hereafter.
