We have some amazing opportunities on our job board today. And just as i was about to share some here, I remembered a very important discuss I had over the weekend which needs to be shared here too. It's about *Job Title Inflation*

Hey Superstars 👋🏾 Welcome to a New Work Week 🎉 Hope you had a lovely weekend 😊?

That's basically job title inflation; having a fancier title, without an actual job change. It's like getting a new label, but the contents inside remain the same. This is usually done to: - Boost employee morale and job satisfaction - Attract and retain talent in a competitive job market - Make the company appear more attractive or prestigious

What is Job Title Inflation? Job title inflation refers to the practice of giving employees fancier or more senior-sounding job titles without necessarily increasing their responsibilities, salary, or benefits.

Let's shift our focus to what's most important. Imagine how many job opportunities you might have missed out on due to job title inflation.

Imagine you're working at a store, and your job title is "Sales Associate." But one day, your boss decides to give you a new title, "Sales Team Leader," without changing your responsibilities or pay.

So, when browsing job listings, take a closer look at the job expectations and requirements. If you believe you can meet them, don't hesitate to apply.

Job title inflation is more prevalent than you think, and it can be a barrier to exploring potential career paths.

When you see a senior role title, do you automatically exclude yourself from applying?

Some people think it's a good thing because it makes them feel important or more confident. Others think it's not so great because it doesn't always come with more money or real changes in their job. Now this isn't really a bother.
