It is a Mercy from Allah that He Made Life Full of Hardships and Calamities So that We Do Not Get Attached to it: Ibn al-Qayyim, may Allah have mercy on him, said: •And it is a mercy from Him that he made worldly life disturbed by hardships for people so they do not feel contentment and serenity towards it, instead they would desire the eternal blessing in His abode by His side. •Thus He herds them to that with the whip of trials and tribulations; -He denied them [some pleasures] to grant them better, -He afflicted them to heal them, -He made them die to resurrect them to true life.
