Welsh cadets embarked on a remarkable journey last October, supported by a grant from ACCT UK. Their destination: the Netherlands. The purpose was profound and historic. They would commemorate the 80th anniversary of ‘s-Hertogenbosch’s liberation. These young people represented more than the Army Cadets. They carried the legacy of the 53rd (Welsh) Infantry Division. Their trip was both a historical pilgrimage and a transformative experience. Read the full story 👇🏼 https://acctuk.org/story/welsh-cadets-commemorate-historic-liberation-in-the-netherlands/

New Skills on Two Wheels 🚲 The varied terrain around Graham Water proved perfect for building mountain biking and navigation skills. Gentle slopes gave way to more challenging inclines. Each new hill tested the Middlesex & NW London cadets’ growing confidence and control. Beyond the physical challenges, something equally valuable emerged: friendship. Bringing together cadets from different companies created new bonds. ACCT UK’s grant helped fund the hiring of specialist mountain bikes, enabling qualified adult volunteers to deliver adventurous training.
