Welsh cadets embarked on a remarkable journey last October, supported by a grant from ACCT UK. Their destination: the Netherlands. The purpose was profound and historic. They would commemorate the 80th anniversary of ‘s-Hertogenbosch’s liberation. These young people represented more than the Army Cadets. They carried the legacy of the 53rd (Welsh) Infantry Division.
