I’ve realized that nobody works harder than someone who understands they're the only hope for themselves and their family. See, when that weight settles on your shoulders-real weight, not just bills or deadlines, but the crushing truth that if you don't show up, nobody else will-something changes. It's not ambition. It's not pride. It's survival. You burn quietly, like a fire that knows it can't afford to go out. Sleep feels like a luxury, rest like a debt you can't pay. But you carry on, because giving up? That's not an option. It's not courage, it's necessity. And that's where the strength lives-not in grand gestures, but in the refusal to fall.

In this life most of the people we would want to consider enemies are the people we have empowered and equipped with our unfaithful lifestyle and we give them authentic tools to use against us. Lean to be truthful and always measure coast of any action before you execute. Should we choose to lie or we rather tell people the opposite of what they hate. You’ll find more freedom in this kind of life than the other one, People will squeeze you just to find out the real truth. But humility and truthfulness will give you a more relaxed life with not much comebacks.

https://www.herald.co.zw/22-youths-arrested-for-abusing-drugs-at-chegutu-party/ I am deeply concerned by the recent arrest of 22 youths in Chegutu for alleged drug abuse at a party. This incident highlights a growing challenge that affects not only our constituency but also the broader nation, the alarming rise in substance abuse among our young people. As a community, we must recognize that drug abuse is not just a law enforcement issue but a societal problem that requires collective action. Our youth are the future of this nation, and it is our responsibility to guide, support, and empower them to make positive choices. I call on all stakeholders, parents, educators, community leaders, and law enforcement, to work together to address the root causes of drug abuse. We must strengthen our efforts to provide accessible education, recreational opportunities, and mental health support for our young people. Additionally, we need to intensify awareness campaigns about the dangers of drug abuse and ensure that rehabilitation programs are available for those in need. At the same time, I urge our youth to reflect on their choices and understand the long-term consequences of substance abuse. There are countless opportunities for growth and success, and I encourage you to pursue them with determination and focus. As your representative, I am committed to advocating for policies and programs that will create a safer, healthier, and more prosperous environment for all. Let us unite as a community to protect our youth and build a brighter future for Chegutu and our nation. Together, we can overcome this challenge.

With God’s blessing, I am humbled to have launched the EmpowerNest Poultry Project last week, an initiative Ime and my team have spearheaded to empower families across Chegutu West, transcending political divides. Over the next month, we will extend this project to every ward in our constituency, ensuring no one is left behind as long as they’re willing. My commitment is to uplift every willing household, support churches, and empower schools through sustainable opportunities. This is more than poultry farming, it’s a pathway to household financial independence. These layer birds enable families to start egg-selling businesses, and we are working to secure a guaranteed market for their produce. My vision is to see thousands of families thrive through this project, creating lasting prosperity. As long as God wills, I will continue to serve and empower. This is just the beginning, together, we rise! #EmpowerNest #MyCommitment #BuildingChegutuWest #EggBusinessOpportunity #SustainableGrowth

From 23 to 28 we will have public hearings on the state pensions bill. For MashWest it's February 23 in Kadoma

Our town’s water system was originally built to serve 20,000 people, but Chegutu has grown significantly, and our infrastructure has not kept pace. Immediate action is critical. As a stop-gap measure, we are drilling new boreholes and repairing old ones to boost short-term supply, while also installing water kiosks in high-need wards to ensure no household goes without water. However, temporary solutions are not enough. Through the #SourceToTap Initiative, we are tackling the root of the crisis by expanding our source water bank to meet both current and future demand, revamping outdated filtration and pumping systems to serve over 70 000 residents, and ensuring reliable, clean water flows to every tap, school, and clinic. Chegutu’s growth is a sign of progress, and together we must ensure our water systems grow with it, building a future where water scarcity becomes a thing of the past. #WaterForChegutu #SustainbableGrowth #FromSourceToTap

The greatest thing I’ve ever decided to do was *Just Be Quiet* I have nothing to say, I’ve nothing to say. I’m not convincing anyone that I’m a great person. In my silence I’ve found peace no longer bound the need to prove myself. I discovered a new kind of strength it’s a quiet strength , born from knowing my value doesn’t hinge on anyone’s recognition. I’ve long let go the exhausting pursuit of validation and I’ve embraced the serenity that comes with self acceptance. This happened when I finally understood that my worthy has always been there independent of other’s opinions. Those who see my value and respect are welcome into my world, those who don’t can carry on their way!

Heartbroken by the tragic mining accident between Muzvezve Ward 8 and Chegutu West Ward 25, where artisanal miners remain trapped underground. As of today, 21 February 2025, it has been six days, and hope remains as rescue efforts continue. My deepest gratitude to the Ministry of Mines, ZRP, Ministry of Health, and all stakeholders working tirelessly. Our prayers and thoughts are with the miners and their families during this difficult time. #ChegutuWest #Muzvezve”

Yesterday, we laid to rest our senior alderman, Mahuni. It was a privilege to honor and celebrate his remarkable life of dedicated service to the Chegutu community.
