https://youtu.be/PNnYGIHMFcM After Mark Zuckerberg, another famous fan stepped into the spotlight: Highly acclaimed fantasy author Brandon Sanderson has apparently played the whole series from the first version on (except Alpha Centauri), and has now made a video talking about Civ7. Obviously he talkes about the "one more turn" effect, that he doesn't like ICS and prefers the science victory. For Civ7 specifically, he likes in principle the age transition, but he's still only finished one, and he feels a bit like some of the fans, that he doesn't connect that well with his civ. In contrast to most of the fanbase he actually seems to also dislike the performance of the narrator Gwendoline Christie! He likes the diplomacy and the city states, and he has obviously a lot more opinions, so watch the video. The developers of Ara posted a new update on Steam, writing about the next patch, which is scheduled for June 18. They plan to address 6 points in total, among them UI, AI, map generation and more. In this update they specifically write about the UI, and that they plan to make all interactions possible via the main map, in contrast to e.g. the city screen.
