This afternoon Permanent Secretary for Transport and Infrastructural Development, Eng J.P Makumbe and the Insurance Council of Zimbabwe CEO, Mr Donald Muthe signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish a collaborative framework for the issuance of minimum insurance cover for public service vehicle passengers and COMESA Regional Third-Party Motor Vehicle Insurance. In her remarks before the signing of the MoU, Eng Makumbe highlighted that it will enhance road safety as it provides robust protection for the commuting public and promotes the strict enforcement of the requirement for minimum insurance cover for public service vehicle passengers.
