Today Transport and Infrastructural Development Deputy Minister Hon J.K.Sacco officiated at the hand over ceremony of a donation of hospital equipment and consumables from the Traffic Safety Council of Zimbabwe (TSCZ) and ZINARA to Gwanda Provincial hospital. The medical equipment comprised of 90 mattresses, 90 blankets and 90 pairs of bed sheets, 9 wheelchairs and assortment of medical consumables. In his Keynote adress, Hon Sacco commended ZINARA and the TSCZ for their shared commitment to social investment and recognition of human social development, describing the donation as a gesture that compliments President Mnangagwa's mantra of leaving no one and no place behind. This donation will significantly enhance Gwanda Provincial Hospital’s capacity to care for patients, particularly victims of road traffic crashes. By strengthening emergency healthcare readiness, this initiative directly supports road safety efforts, aligning with Zimbabwe’s commitment to saving lives and minimizing the long-term impact of accidents The donation was received by Matabeleland South Provincial Medical Director, Dr A. Muza and Gwanda Provincial hospital Medical Superintendent, Dr Gororo. Hon Sacco was accompanied by Zinara board Chairperson, Dr G Manyaya, TSCZ Managing Director, Mr M.
