The creator of the popular animated film "Shrek" William Steig copied his character from the professional wrestler Maurice Thieu. The real prototype knew 14 languages, brilliantly played chess and in spite of his fearsome face and enormous power, was a very modest and friendly man. The Guanajuato mummies are considered the most bizarre and frightening. Their crooked faces make you believe that many of them were buried alive. The city itself is located in central Mexico, and there is a museum of mummies. The history of its creation is frightening: since 1865, places in cemeteries began to be taxed, and if relatives did not pay - the body after 5 years was exhumed. If the relatives managed to pay the huge debt, the body was returned, if not - the bodies were stored in the basement. Later, the "entrepreneurs" decided to make an attraction out of them and created a museum, where the most "horrible" bodies were selected.

In 2018, a 19-year-old French student named Estelle suffered a severe allergic reaction after using a home hair dye kit containing para-phenylenediamine (PPD), a common chemical in many permanent dyes. Although she did a patch test, she waited only 30 minutes instead of the recommended 48 hours before applying the product. Soon after, her scalp began to itch and swell, and by the next day, her head had ballooned dramatically, her skull’s circumference increased from about 22 inches to nearly 25 inches. She also experienced tongue swelling and trouble breathing, prompting an emergency hospital visit where she received treatment including an adrenaline shot. Estelle eventually recovered and later spoke out to raise awareness about the importance of following patch test guidelines and recognizing the risks of allergic reactions to hair dye ingredients like PPD.
