1 March 2025 22:45pm Dear residents of affected areas in Redfern and surrounding roads , i have escalated to the department to be made aware of the outage and the switching officers to be dispatched. I have no clue why the power went off. We await the department to investigate into this matter. There is no timeframe when power be restored. Next feedback will be in the morning as we need to give the department time to perform their duty. Regards cllr samier singh

23 Feb 2024 7:30pm Dear residents of affected areas in lenham, northcroft, fernham and redfern. I have escalated to the department that the power is off in the area. Seems majority of areas in Phoenix is off. There will be no feedback on why the power has gone off. The department will assigned thr MV team as soon as they are available. Unfortunately this is going to be a huge delay. Timeframe when power be restored is unknown at this time. Regards cllr samier singh. Also please lodge person faults as well.

🔥 _MZANSI SECURIFIRE_🔥 SUCCESS REPORT Date: 23rd February 2025 Time: 18:45 Location: Corner of Sheridan and Havenside Incident Summary: At 18:45, November Tango 2 and Sierra Tango 1 were Standing Downat the corner of Havenside and Sheridan. They observed two black males carrying suspiciously heavy bags on Impala Crescent. When the males noticed the tactical officers, both males fled towards Higginson Highway. Details of the Incident: Thanks to the swift response of the tactical officers, both males were intercepted in Havenside Park. Upon investigation and search, the individuals were found in possession of: - Multiple undamaged truck straps - Tie-down straps - Ropes When questioned, the suspects failed to provide a valid explanation for possessing these items. Outcome: The suspects are being detained, awaiting SAPS arrival. Charges will be laid for possession of suspected stolen goods. 23 February 2025 12pm Dear residents of affected areas in fernham drive and lenham. The electricity department were having IT problems at the HQ so that caused alot of backlogs that the department has currently. I have informed the department heads of the faults i am aware about in the ward. Department is trying their best to attend to all faults as soon as they can. INCIDENT REPORT Date: 23 February 2025 The dRK Tactical Control Center received a message regarding a suspect spotted in the Westville Berea West area carrying various items. dRK Tactical Response Units were immediately dispatched to the location. Upon arrival, the suspect noticed the response officers and attempted to flee across the M13. However, he was successfully apprehended by Westville SAPS. Westville SAPS, in coordination with the dRK Tactical Response Officer, took the suspect in for questioning along with the items in his possession, which he could not account for. A commendation goes to SAPS (Constables L.Pillay) and the dRK Tactical team for their swift response and teamwork in securing the suspect’s arrest. #drktactical #Westvillesaps #saferwithus

*Fatal Accident on Eastbury Drive, Phoenix* A tragic accident occurred on Eastbury Drive (also known as Station Road) in Phoenix on February 23, 2025, at 17:35. KZNVIP MEDICAL ambulance responded to the scene, where they found three patients involved in the incident. One patient was entrapped in the vehicle, and the eThekwini Municipality's Fire Department was called to assist in the rescue effort. Despite the best efforts of the emergency response teams, one patient sadly succumbed to their injuries. The remaining two patients were stabilized at the scene and transported to a nearby medical facility for further treatment. The cause of the accident is currently unknown and will be investigated by the South African Police Service (SAPS).
