⚠️ Bridge repairs⚠️ Essential maintenance to the listed deck panels at Albert Bridge is happening now. The bridge is closed to vehicles until 6am on Monday 2 June. Works are taking place in the summer half term to try and limit disruption. Pedestrian access is maintained throughout and cyclists can cross but are encouraged to dismount. The works are helping to protect the bridge for the future.

Changes to vehicle access on Portobello Road Portobello Road is one of London’s most popular street markets, attracting thousands of visitors every week. To better protect everyone who lives, works and trades in the area and following advice from the Metropolitan Police, we will be introducing new barriers that will restrict vehicle access during market hours. https://www.rbkc.gov.uk/planning-and-building-control/amazing-spaces/strengthening-portobello-road Works will begin to prepare the road from next week, with the aim to have the barriers installed by the end of June. Please familiarise yourselves with the changes over the next few weeks ahead of the closures starting.
