Center For Advocacy,Transparency & Accountability Initiative - CATAI, in collaboration with Jamialhakeem Foundation and with support from the United Nations Development Programme - UNDP under the Lake Chad Basin Peace Initiative, is excited to kickstart Zaman Lafiya Jari, a weekly radio program dedicated to promoting peace and preventing violent extremism in Borno State. Menstrual Hygiene Day 2025 | Together for a #PeriodFriendlyWorld Millions of girls and women around the world still face barriers that make managing their periods difficult, from lack of menstrual products and safe toilets to the stigma that surrounds menstruation. In Borno State and around the world, these challenges keep girls out of school and limit their full participation in society. At CATAI, together with our partners, we’re working to close the gap through advocacy and policy action that puts menstrual hygiene management on the agenda, especially for the most marginalized.
