Yesterday, the PACT-LAB Consortium held a strategic engagement with the Swiss Development & Cooperation team in Borno State, an important moment to reflect on our shared progress and commitment to protecting vulnerable children, women, and youth affected by conflict. The event also marked a heartfelt farewell to Nicolas Martin-Achard, First Secretary for Humanitarian Aid and Development Cooperation, Embassy of Switzerland for Nigeria, Chad, Niger and ECOWAS, whose leadership and dedication to localization have left a lasting mark on Nigeria’s humanitarian response. While we’ll miss his leadership here, we celebrate his next chapter and the continued impact he’ll make.
