📜 *The Sahaba Didn’t Chase Reminders. They Followed Revelation.* Can you imagine: Umar RA, Abu Bakr RA, Ali RA holding placards in a market in each corner: @obedient_servant, @faithfulmuslimah, @bestfriend_of_rasool Each one giving reminders and stories And us running from one to another, fearing we might *“miss out”*? Ridiculous, right‼️ They didn’t live like that. They: *Followed the Qur’an* *Learned the Sunnah deeply* *Acted immediately upon ayat* *Obeyed instantly* — When the ayah of hijab came, women tore their clothes and covered immediately. Not: “Ya Allah, this is such a powerful reminder.” *Saved to highlights.* *No action.* They didn’t just share reminders. They *lived reminders.*

🎭 *Instagram & WhatsApp = Reflections, Not Education* Those reminders you’re watching are like: Pages of someone’s personal diary Thoughts from someone’s heart Emotions, reflections, or insights shared with love — not structured ilm 📍 *You can’t learn your religion like that* 🧪 Would you study science by attending: 10 tuition centres at once? Random group studies in 5 friends' homes simultaneously? No! That’s chaos! Then why are you learning Islam like this? 💥 *Your brain has a limit.* *It doesn’t need over-stimulation.* *It needs focused, consistent input* As someone who studies neuroscience, let me tell you: 📉 Constant scrolls, reels, DMs, notes, and reminders — without action — lead to: Burnout Anxiety Guilt Lack of retention Shallow faith Your phone is *rewiring your brain*. your brain reshapes based on what *it repeatedly does.* Every swipe = rewiring. Every reel = micro-dose of dopamine. Every scroll = another layer of spiritual numbness. Umar RA would cover his ears and run when music played. Now we can’t even mute reels. *Think about it.*

_“Many women are afflicted today with going out of their homes not for something important but rather to just roam around the marketplaces whilst adorning themselves, perfuming themselves and uncovering their faces._ _When they enter the shops and go inside the showrooms, they uncover their faces in front of the workers and the salesman as if they were her maharam! And they have friendly conversations with them, joking and laughing with them._ *Where is the modesty, O Muslim women? Won't you fear Allaah?* [Four Essays on the Obligation of Veiling]e

🧭 *Practical Solutions:* ✅ Choose ONE Proper Source of Knowledge: A structured Tafsir series (YouTube / AMAU app) A reliable online madrasa or weekly halaqa A book or PDF you commit to finishing 1 ustadha/ustadh whose lectures you follow consistently Stop jumping. Stop hoarding reminders. Start digesting Ilm 🧹 *Detox Today:* ❌ Leave WhatsApp da’wah groups that send 20 forwards a day ❌ Don’t scroll through WhatsApp channels and call it learning ❌ Unfollow pages that just overload you with motivation ❌ Don’t replace structured ilm with Instagram reels ❌ Stop sharing 6 stories daily and thinking you’ve done da’wah ❌delete that 1000 plus reminders in your screenshot section from your gallery ✅ Keep one or two reminders — that you actually act upon *Even unfollow our channel if you need to detox.* *Because Islam is not a vibe — it’s a life direction.* ✨ One Last Reminder: You can’t reach Allah by *standing still* in the light of someone else’s torch. You need to *start walking* forward, even if it’s slow — even if it’s alone.

Imām Ibn Qudāmah (d.620AH) رحمه الله stated: "The Salaf used to love those who informed them of their shortcomings and mistakes. *And as for us now, the most hated of the people to us are those who inform us of our mistakes and shortcomings."* [Minhaaj al-Qaasideen(p.196)] Humble yourself

Imān is something that will always fluctuate. It will never remain at the same level constantly. Your Salah should be non-negotiable. Do not compromise on it at any cost. If you are going out, try to fix your salah first. Even if your Imān is low, don't leave it. Even if you're feeling spiritually low, that should not lead to missing one prayer. Let it not happen that missing one prayer leads to missing all five prayers. Try to pray, strive to pray all of them. When you start praying even one, gradually it will become a habit. Secondly, never abandon your morning and evening adhkar. Make it a daily habit. Thirdly, constantly be in Istighfar. Try to do as much Istighfar as possible. Dhikr softens the heart. Even when your Imān is low, your heart becomes soft through dhikr — and things get better. And remember two things: 1. If you are low in Imān, have non-negotiable. Try to stay away from certain things. Like even if my Imān is low right now or ever becomes weak, I'll never do this things — no matter what happens. 2. And when you are high in Imān — of course, such moments come where you feel spiritually strong or emotional — try to do as much good as possible during that time.

📚 *Step 2: Take Knowledge from the Right Source* “Too many reminders, not enough surrender.” 📲 *Let’s get real.* Many sisters say: _“I’m learning so much on Instagram.”_ _“I follow Islamic pages.”_ _“I’m in 6 different WhatsApp da’wah groups.”_ _“I learn deen from Instagram.”_ _“This WhatsApp channel is changing my life.”_ But here’s the reality: Reminders are not knowledge. But what’s the result‼️ No structure. No real foundation. No implementation. Just reminders, reminders, reminders… and a brain that’s completely exhausted. Reminders are like diary entries of someone else’s journey — they are meant to nudge, not nourish. They're like candles you see on the road — *they don’t replace the actual road.* ⚠️ You are drowning in motivation, but dying in disobedience. You *watch 20 Islamic reels* — and *don’t pray on time*. You share *da’wah content daily* — but can’t *forgive your father.* You host an *Islamic WhatsApp group* — but *yell at your mother* at home. You post *Qur’an clips* — but *backbite in DMs.* *Is this what knowledge was meant to be*⁉️
