_*SHALOM PRAYER WARRIORS.*_ _*54 DAY ROSARY NOVENA.*_ _*DAY 52*, SATURDAY, 21ST JUNE 2025 - THE JOYFUL MYSTERIES *(In Thanksgiving)*_ *Prayer before the recitation of the Joyful Mysteries:* In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. Say *One Hail Mary* *Prayer for the 27 days of thanksgiving:* Hail, Queen of the Most Holy Rosary, my Mother Mary, hail! At your feet I humbly kneel to offer you a crown of roses - snow-white buds to remind you of your joys - each bud recalling a holy mystery; each ten bound together with my petition for a particular grace. O Holy Queen, dispenser of God’s graces and Mother of all who invoke you! You cannot look upon my gift and fail to see its binding. As you receive my gift, so will you receive my thanks; from your bounty you have given me the help I so earnestly and trustingly sought, even if I do not yet fully comprehend your wisdom. I despaired not of what I asked of you. And you have truly shown yourself my Mother! Say the *Apostles Creed*: I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth; and in Jesus Christ his only Son, Our Lord; Who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended into hell; the third day He arose again from the dead; He ascended into heaven, sitteth at the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence He shall come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Ghost, the holy Catholic Church, the communion of Saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. Amen. _One *Our Father*, Three *Hail Marys*, One *Glory Be to the Father*._ ✽¸.••.¸✽ ¸.••.¸✽¸.••.¸✽ The First Joyful Mystery - _*The Annunciation*_ Sweet Mother Mary, meditating on the Mystery of the Annunciation, when the angel Gabriel appeared to you with the tidings that you were to become the Mother of God, greeting you with that sublime salutation, “Hail, full of grace! The Lord is with you!” and you humbly submitted yourself to the will of the Father, responding, “Behold the handmaid of the Lord. Be it done unto me according to your word,” I humbly pray: Say one Our Father, ten Hail Marys, one Glory Be to the Father. Recite the Fatima Prayer "O my Jesus". I bind these snow-white buds with a petition for the virtue of humility and humbly lay this bouquet at your feet. ✽¸.••.¸✽ ¸.••.¸✽¸.••.¸✽ The Second Joyful Mystery - _*The Visitation*_ Sweet Mother Mary, meditating on the Mystery of the Visitation, when upon your visit to your holy cousin Elizabeth she greeted you with the prophetic utterance, “Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb!” and you answered with that canticle of canticles, the Magnificat, I humbly pray: Say one Our Father, ten Hail Marys, one Glory Be to the Father. Recite the Fatima Prayer "O my Jesus". I bind these snow-white buds with a petition for the virtue of charity and humbly lay this bouquet at your feet. ✽¸.••.¸✽ ¸.••.¸✽¸.••.¸✽ The Third Joyful Mystery - _*The Nativity*_ Sweet Mother Mary, meditating on the Mystery of the Nativity of Our Lord, when your time being completed you brought forth the Redeemer of the World in a stable at Bethlehem, whereupon choirs of angels filled the heavens with their exultant song of praise, “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to men of good will,” I humbly pray: Say one Our Father, ten Hail Marys, one Glory Be to the Father. Recite the Fatima Prayer "O my Jesus". I bind these snow-white buds with a petition for the virtue of detachment from the world and humbly lay this bouquet at your feet. ✽¸.••.¸✽ ¸.••.¸✽¸.••.¸✽ The Fourth Joyful Mystery - _*The Presentation In The Temple*_ Sweet Mother Mary, meditating on the Mystery of the Presentation of Our Lord, when in obedience to the Law of Moses you presented your son in the Temple, where the holy prophet Simeon, taking the child in his arms, offered thanks to God for allowing him to look upon his Savior and foretold your suffering by the words, “Your soul also a sword shall pierce,” I humbly pray: Say one Our Father, ten Hail Marys, one Glory Be to the Father. Recite the Fatima Prayer "O my Jesus". I bind these snow-white buds with a petition for the virtue of purity and humbly lay this bouquet at your feet. ✽¸.••.¸✽ ¸.••.¸✽¸.••.¸✽ The Fifth Joyful Mystery - _*The Finding of the Child Jesus in the Temple*_ Sweet Mother Mary, meditating on the Mystery of the Finding of the Child Jesus in the Temple, when after sorrowfully seeking your lost son for three days you discovered him in the Temple speaking with the teachers and upon your request he obediently returned home with you and Joseph, I humbly pray: Say one Our Father, ten Hail Marys, one Glory Be to the Father. Recite the Fatima Prayer "O my Jesus". I bind these snow-white buds with a petition for the virtue of obedience to the will of God and humbly lay this bouquet at your feet. ✽¸.••.¸✽ ¸.••.¸✽¸.••.¸✽ *Prayer after the recitation of the Joyful Mysteries:* _*Spiritual Communion*_ My Jesus, really present in the most holy Sacrament of the Eucharist, since I cannot now receive you in the form of bread and wine, I ask with a heart full of love and longing that you come spiritually into my soul through the intercession of your most holy Mother. Abide with me forever: you in me, and I in you, in time and in eternity, in Mary. *Prayer during 27 days of thanksgiving:* Sweet Mother Mary, I offer you this Spiritual Communion to bind my bouquets in a wreath to place upon your brow in thanksgiving for *(specify request)*, which you in your love have obtained for me, even if I do not yet fully comprehend your wisdom. Say *One Hail Mary* ✽¸.••.¸✽ ¸.••.¸✽¸.••.¸✽ _*Hail Holy Queen*_, Mother of Mercy, our Life, our Sweetness, and our Hope. To thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve. To thee do we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this vale of tears. Turn then, most gracious advocate, thine eyes of mercy towards us. And after this, our exile, show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus. O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary. Pray for us, O holy Mother of God, that we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ. *Let Us Pray:* O God, whose only-begotten Son, by his life, death and resurrection has purchased for us the reward of eternal life, grant we beseech you, that meditating upon these mysteries of the most holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary we may imitate what they contain and obtain what they promise, through the same Christ, our Lord. Amen May the divine assistance remain always with us. Amen. And may the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen. Holy Virgin Mary, with your loving Child, your blessings give to us this day (night). In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen ✽¸.••.¸✽ ¸.••.¸✽¸.••.¸✽ *Additional prayers:* _*Saint Michael the Archangel*_, defend us in battle. Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray; and do Thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host - by the Divine Power of God - cast into hell, satan and all the evil spirits, who roam throughout the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen. _*MEMORARE*_ Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thine intercession was left unaided. Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my mother; to thee do I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer me. Amen.

Once, during the reading of his life, the following story was related: “In the refectory, we read a passage from the Life of Saint Aloysius Gonzaga, which relates how a sick person who prayed to Aloysius for recovery saw a shower of roses fall upon his bed as a sign of the grace that was to be granted to him." Later, during recreation, Thérèse said, "In this world all things pass away, even little Thérèse—but she will return," and she promised, "I, too, will let fall a shower of roses after my death. I will spend my Heaven doing good on earth." How prophetic, for since her death, an untold number of miracles, favors, and even roses appearing have been attributed to Saint Thérèse of the Child Jesus. _*Saint Aloysius and Saint Thérèse, pray for us!*_

Ufalme wako uje. Utakalo lifanyike duniani kama mbinguni. Utupe leo mkate wetu wa kila siku. Utusamehe makosa yetu, kama tunavyowasamehe wale waliotukosea. Na usitutie majaribuni, bali utuokoe maovuni. Amina. *Salamu Maria Salamu Maria, Umejaa neema Bwana yu nawe, Umebarikiwa kuliko wanawake wote, Na Yesu mzao wa tumbo lako amebarikiwa, Maria Mtakatifu, Mama wa Mungu Utuombee sisi wakosefu Sasa, na saa ya kufa kwetu. Amina. Tuvute karibu nawe kupitia Moyo unaotupenda kuliko wote. Amina. *READINGS FOR JUNE 21ST 2025.* *SATURDAY OF THE ELEVENTH WEEK IN ORDINARY TIME, YEAR C(I).* *THE MEMORIAL OF SAINT ALOYSIUS GONZAGA, Religious.* *LITURGICAL COLOUR: WHITE🤍* *FIRST READING* I will all the more gladly boast of my weaknesses. *A reading from the second Letter of Saint Paul to the Corinthians (2 CORINTHIANS 12: 1 — 10)* Brethren: I must boast; there is nothing to be gained by it, but I will go on to visions and revelations of the Lord. I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago was caught up to the third heaven — whether in the body or out of the body I do not know, God knows. And I know that this man was caught up into Paradise whether in the body or out of the body I do not know, God knows — and he heard things that cannot be told, which man may not utter. On behalf of this man I will boast, but on my own behalf I will not boast, except of my weaknesses. Though if I wish to boast, I shall not be a fool, for I shall be speaking the truth. But I refrain from it, so that no one may think more of me than he sees in me or hears from me. And to keep me from being too elated by the abundance of revelations, a thorn was given me in the flesh, a messenger of Satan, to harass me, to keep me from being too elated. Three times I begged the Lord about this, that it should leave me; but he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” I will all the more gladly boast of my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities; for when I am weak, then I am strong. *The Word of the Lord......* *Thanks be to God* *RESPONSORIAL PSALM* Taken from Psalm 34:8—9, 10—11, 12—13 (R.) 9a And the response is; *R/. Taste and see that the Lord is good.* The angel of the Lord is encamped around those who fear him, to rescue them. Taste and see that the Lord is good. Blessed the man who seeks refuge in him. *R/.* Fear the Lord, you his holy ones. They lack nothing, those who fear him. The rich suffer want and go hungry, but those who seek the Lord lack no blessing. *R/.* Come, children, and hear me, that I may teach you the fear of the Lord. Who is it that desires life and longs to see prosperous days? *R/.* *GOSPEL ACCLAMATION* 2 Corinthians 8: 9 *Alleluia.* Though Jesus Christ was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, so that by his poverty you might become rich. *Alleluia.* *GOSPEL* “Do not be anxious about tomorrow.” *† A reading from the holy Gospel according to Matthew (MATTHEW 6: 24 — 34)* At that time: Jesus said to his disciples, “No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon. Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you shall eat or what you shall drink, nor about your body, what you shall put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? And which of you by being anxious can add one cubit to his span of life? And why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they neither toil nor spin; yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not clothed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is alive and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? Therefore do not be anxious, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the Gentiles seek all these things; and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things shall be yours as well. Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Let the day’s own trouble be sufficient for the day.” *The Gospel of the Lord......* *Praise to you Lord Jesus Christ.*

_*🌹†SAINT OF THE DAY†🌹*_ _*SAINT ALOYSIUS GONZAGA, Religious & Jesuit Priest.*_ _(9th March 1568 - 21st June 1591)_ _*FEASTDAY: JUNE 21ST.*_ _*Patronage:*_ ▪︎ AIDS care-givers; ▪︎ AIDS patients; ▪︎ Catholic youth; ▪︎ Jesuit students; ▪︎ Relief from pestilence; ▪︎ Sore eyes; ▪︎ Teenage children; ▪︎ Teenagers; ▪︎ Young people; and ▪︎ Youth. Aloysius Gonzaga (Luigi Gonzaga) gave up a privileged life and a princely inheritance to live the vows of religious life even to the point of contacting the plague because of his selfless care for people already sick with it. He was the eldest son of the Marquis of Castiglione, and heir to the family title. The Gonzagas were known as patrons of Renaissance artists, and they ruled what amounted to a kingdom. As a young man Gonzaga wore a suit of armour and walked at his father's side when he reviewed troops. His life began to change after he contacted malaria and suffered frequent bouts of fever. As early as age seven, he became attracted to prayer and turned away from the courtly life around him. When he was nine, he and his brother were sent to Florence to learn the customs of princes at the court of their father's friend the Grand Duke Francesco de' Medici. The Medici court was one of the grandest, most opulent in Europe, but also one full of intrigue, deceit, sex and violence. The young Gonzaga withdrew from this world and became firm in his desire to never offend God by sinning. In November 1579 he moved to Mantua to stay with the duke, a relative; in that residence he discovered a book with brief lives of the saints. He also began to pray the Psalms daily and later started meditating after he discovered a prayer book written by the Jesuit Peter Canisius. His piety included daily Mass, weekly communion and fasting three days a week. The young heir traveled with Maria of Austria, the daughter of Charles V, on her way to Madrid in 1582. He became a page attending the duke of Asturias, the heir apparent, and was later made a knight of the Order of St. James. The higher he rose in royal society, however, the more his thoughts turned to becoming a Jesuit like his confessor in Madrid. On Aug. 15, 1583 he had an experience in prayer that confirmed his decision. When he told his confessor, that man said he would have to get his father's permission. The marquis was enraged by the news that his heir wanted to renounce all that had been so carefully prepared for him. The whole family returned to Castiglione and then the marquis sent his two sons on a tour of the courts of Italy, hoping that the experience of such refined living would change his son's mind and relieve the tension that had developed between two strong-willed individuals. The son's determination proved to be stronger, and the father finally granted his assent. In November 1585 Aloysius renounced his inheritance in favor of his brother Rudolph and set out for Rome where he presented himself to the Superior General, Claudio Acquaviva, who admitted him to the novitiate of Sant'Andrea. Although the new novice was not yet 18, his background made him mature beyond his years, and he found the novitiate less rigorous than the life he had been living by his own decision. He nevertheless obediently followed the novitiate rules and the guidance of his novice master. He enrolled in the Roman College to finish philosophy studies before taking first vows, and then went immediately into theology right after. He returned to Castiglione in 1589 to negotiate peace between his brother and the duke of Mantua, and then returned to Rome in May 1590. Plague and famine struck Italy the following year and Gonzaga threw himself into caring for the victims of the plague. He begged alms for the sick and physically carried those he found in the streets to a hospital where he washed and fed them and prepared them for the sacraments. He told his spiritual director, Robert Bellarmine (who would later be recognized as a saint), that he had a premonition he would die soon. So many young Jesuits were becoming sick that the superior forbade Gonzaga to return to the hospital. Gonzaga did get permission to work at Our Lady of Consolation hospital which did not treat anyone with contagious diseases. Gonzaga went there but contacted the plague when he cared for a man who had the plague. The young Jesuit put himself to bed on March 3, 1591; his condition worsened and then improved somewhat, but he could not recover full health. Fever and a cough set in and he slowly lingered on. He knew he was dying and asked to receive communion. Two Jesuits watched with him through the night and saw his face change as he held onto a cross and called the name of Jesus. He was only 23 when he died. Pious legend has it that Saint Aloysius's first words were the Holy Names of Jesus and Mary, and his last word was the Holy Name of Jesus. In his short life, he burned brightly for Christ, which is why Pope Benedict XIII named him the patron saint of youth at his canonization on December 31, 1726. His body is now kept in the church of St. Ignatius in Rome. *REFLECTION:* "He who wishes to love God does not truly love Him, if he has not an ardent and constant desire, to suffer for His sake." With these words along with His life, St. Aloysius is teaching us how to truly love God. Loving God entails not only in times when we are in the state of consolation but most of all in the state of our lives when we experience persecutions and all forms of desolations. Let us allow the life and teachings of St. Aloysius Gonzaga to mold our hearts in loving God more in suffering for His sake. *PRAYER:* O God, giver of heavenly gifts, who in Saint Aloysius Gonzaga joined penitence to a wonderful innocence of life, grant through his merits and intercession, that, though we have failed to follow him in innocence, we may imitate him in penitence. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, for ever and ever. AMEN. _*A PRAYER TO BE SAID BY YOUNG MEN* (to St. Aloysius Gonzaga)_ O most glorious Saint Aloysius, who hast been honored by the Church with the fair title of "angelic youth," because of the life of utmost purity thou didst lead here on earth, I come before thy presence this day with all the devotion of my mind and heart. O perfect exemplar, kind and powerful patron of young men, how great is my need of thee! The world and the devil are trying to ensnare me; I am conscious of that ardor of my passions; I know full well the weakness and inconstancy of my age. Who shall be able to keep me safe, if not thou, O saint of angelic purity, the glory and honor, the loving protector of youth? To thee, therefore, I have recourse with all my soul, to thee I commit myself with all my heart. I hereby resolve, promise, and desire to be especially devout toward thee, to glorify thee by imitating thy extraordinary virtues and in particular thy angelic purity, to copy thy example, and to promote devotion to thee among my companions. O dear Saint Aloysius, do thou guard and defend me always, in order that, under thy protection and following thy example, I may one day be able to join with thee in seeing and praising my God forever in heaven. Amen.

*MASOMO YA MISA, JUNI 21 2025.* *JUMAMOSI YA JUMA LA KUMI NA MOJA, KIPINDI CHA KAWAIDA, MWAKA C(I).* *KUMBUKUMBU YA MTAKATIFU ALOISI GONZAGA, Mtawa.* *RANGI YA KILITURJIA: NYEUPE🤍.* *SOMO LA KWANZA* Nitazidi kuusifia udhaifu wangu. Huko alisikia maneno yasiyosemeka, ambayo mwanadamu hana ruhusa kuyatamka. Nataka kumsifia mtu huyo, sitaki kujisifia binafsi, isipokuwa udhaifu wangu. Heri mtu yule anayetafuta hifadhi kwake.

WHAT COMES TO YOUR MIND WHEN YOU HEAR THE WORDS “DIVORCE & SEPARATION”? _________________ It sounds like failure, doesn’t it? A broken vow. A shattered dream. Some think it means the marriage never really mattered. Others think it’s a sin beyond forgiveness. But what does the Catholic Church actually say about separation and divorce? Let’s take a breath. Let’s start from the beginning. 💥 Marriage is a covenant, not just a contract. When two baptized persons marry in the Church, it becomes a sacrament, a visible sign of God’s invisible grace. It’s not just a legal agreement, it’s a holy bond. That’s why Jesus said: “What God has joined together, let no man separate.” (Mark 10:9) The Church believes marriage is sacred and meant to last until death (cf. CCC 1641, 1644). But here’s what many don’t realize: 💔 The Church is not blind to suffering. Some marriages become abusive, unsafe, or deeply broken. In such painful situations, separation is permitted. Yes, a Catholic may separate (and even obtain a civil divorce) for serious reasons, such as: 👉 Physical or emotional abuse 👉 Adultery 👉 Grave neglect 👉 Endangerment to children 👉 Addiction or violence etc. This is what the Church calls “separation from bed and board” (separatio a toro et mensa). It means physical separation is allowed for protection and human dignity. So if you’re in harm’s way, you are not required to stay. God is not glorified by your suffering. ❓ What happens if you are divorced civilly or by the government? A civil divorce is a government ruling that ends the legal bond of marriage. However, in the Church’s eyes, a valid sacramental marriage still exists unless declared null through an annulment. If you’re divorced but not remarried, you are in good standing with the Church: You can go to Confession, receive Holy Communion, and fully live your faith. But if someone divorces and then remarries without an annulment, the Church views the second union as invalid, because the first sacramental bond is presumed to remain. This is not a punishment, nor are such persons excommunicated. However, they may not receive the sacraments while in that union (cf. CCC 1650) because it contradicts the vow of the first marriage. Still, they are welcome in the Church, invited to pray, attend Mass, and journey with the community. Many begin a path of discernment and healing. 🔁 Can a Catholic remarry in the Church? Not without an annulment. Civil divorce does not end a sacramental marriage. A person can only remarry in the Church if the first marriage is declared null, meaning no valid sacramental bond was formed. Or separated by death. Annulments may be granted when something essential was lacking at the time of the wedding, such as: 👉 No full consent 👉 Serious psychological incapacity 👉 Addiction or dishonesty 👉 Force or grave fear 👉 Hidden refusal of children or lifelong commitment etc. These are judged carefully by the diocesan marriage tribunal. If an annulment is granted, the person is free to marry in the Church. 🤝 What should you do if you're civilly divorced or remarried? Talk to your parish priest. Reach out to your diocesan marriage tribunal. Don’t navigate it alone. The Church wants to listen, to help you discern, and to walk with you toward healing, peace, and possibly reconciliation with the sacraments. ❤️ The Church never abandons the hurting. If your marriage failed, your life hasn’t. If your heart is broken, grace is still possible. You are not unloved. You are not forgotten. You are not unworthy of God’s mercy. The Church is not a courtroom. She is a field hospital. And in every wound, God pours in grace. Don’t give up on love. Don’t give up on grace. And don’t give up on God. You are not alone. 🕊️❤️ God bless you 🙏 *Now you Know*
