Everton, Liverpool, Arne Slot and Sipke Hulshoff have all been charged by The FA following the Merseyside Derby on Wednesday. Β π£οΈ βIt is alleged that both clubs failed to ensure their players and/or technical area occupants did not behave in an improper and/or provocative way following the final whistle. Β βThe Liverpool manager allegedly acted in an improper manner and/or used insulting and/or abusive words and/or behaviour towards both the match referee and an assistant referee after the match had finished. Β βIt is alleged that Liverpoolβs assistant manager acted in an improper manner and/or used insulting and/or abusive words and/or behaviour towards a match official, which led to his dismissal. It is further alleged that he acted in an improper manner and/or used insulting and/or abusive words and/or behaviour towards a match official after being sent off.β Β Everton, Liverpool, Arne Slot and Sipke Hulshoff have until Wednesday, 19 February, to provide their responses.
Luis Rubiales has been found guilty of sexually assaulting Jenni Hermoso after kissing her on the lips following Spainβs 2023 World Cup win. Rubiales was acquitted of coercion, but ordered to pay a fine of more than β¬10k. Rubiales has been ordered not to go within 200 metres of Hermoso for a year or contact her. He can appeal the sentence.
