Luis Rubiales has been found guilty of sexually assaulting Jenni Hermoso after kissing her on the lips following Spain’s 2023 World Cup win. Rubiales was acquitted of coercion, but ordered to pay a fine of more than €10k. Rubiales has been ordered not to go within 200 metres of Hermoso for a year or contact her. He can appeal the sentence.
