Another big leap for #AtmaNirbharBharat! QCI- PADD, in collaboration with Ministry of Agriculture and Farmer Welfare, has developed and submitted the Guidelines for Assessment of Indigenous Content in Kisan Drones to Secretary Shri Devesh Chaturvedi, Ministry of Agriculture and Farmer Welfare. Created under the mandate of MoA&FW, this national-level framework sets clear benchmarks to drive indigenisation in agri-drone technology — powered by a robust, multi-stakeholder, consultative approach. This initiative will boost India’s #DroneMission, support the #NamoDroneDidi vision to empower women-led SHGs, and serve as a model for future frameworks in other critical sectors like CCTVs, EVs, and electronics. One more step towards self-reliance in strategic tech — and a big win for an empowered, innovation-driven Bharat!
Quality Council of India (QCI) has entered into a strategic partnership with CSIR–National Metallurgical Laboratory (NML), Jamshedpur, by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate as knowledge partners. Leveraging CSIR-NML’s robust R&D expertise and QCI’s dedication to advancing quality standards, this collaboration aims to tackle critical challenges and harness emerging opportunities across the mining and mineral sector. The MoU was formalized in the presence of Shri H.B. Chawla, Principal Advisor, QCI, and Dr. Shital Kumar Pal, Head, Research Planning & Business Development at CSIR-NML on 12th June , 2025. This partnership is poised to drive impactful, future-ready initiatives that support India’s developmental priorities while setting new benchmarks in quality, sustainability, and operational excellence within the industry.
