QCI- PADD, in collaboration with Ministry of Agriculture and Farmer Welfare, has developed and submitted the Guidelines for Assessment of Indigenous Content in Kisan Drones to Secretary Shri Devesh Chaturvedi, Ministry of Agriculture and Farmer Welfare. Created under the mandate of MoA&FW, this national-level framework sets clear benchmarks to drive indigenisation in agri-drone technology — powered by a robust, multi-stakeholder, consultative approach. This initiative will boost India’s #dronemission, support the #namodronedidi vision to empower women-led SHGs, and serve as a model for future frameworks in other critical sectors like CCTVs, EVs, and electronics.
