The Holy Scriptures are the supreme, authoritative, and the infallible revelation of His will. They are the standard of character, the test of experience, the definitive revealer of doctrines, and the trustworthy record of God’s acts in history.” *🪄Commentary :* Ellen G. White, Thoughts From the Mount of Blessing, pp. 18-21. *🪁⛳While traveling around the world,* John and his wife, Anne, were camping in a country far from home when John was bitten by a snake. Not knowing what kind of snake it was or what the bite’s effects might be, John and Anne jumped into6 their jeep and headed for the nearest town, where a doctor examined John’s red, swollen, angry-looking snakebite wound. “You were bitten by the most dangerous snake in this part of the country,” the doctor said, “and the bite is fatal. Without treatment, you have less than an hour to live.” “Is there any treatment?” Anne asked, frantic to save her husband’s life. “Yes, you’re very fortunate that I have a small amount of the antidote here in my clinic,” the doctor said, filling the syringe. “Wait a second,” John said. “You’re saying this antidote of yours is the only cure for the snakebite venom?” “The only known cure, sir,” the doctor said. “Hurry up and give him the needle!” Anne insisted. “No, I want to think about this,” John said. “I think it’s pretty narrow-minded of you to insist this is the only treatment available. What if I want to try something different? I don’t like needles. I like herbal remedies. Maybe there’s an herb I can take. Or I’d like to try doing some exercises to see if those would make it better.” “We must hurry, sir,” the doctor said. “Already the poison is spreading through your bloodstream. I repeat, this antidote is the only cure.” “John, just let him give you the needle,” Anne begged. “I’m really not sure about this,” John said. “There’s always more than one way to approach a situation. I think we need to explore other options rather than just taking his word for it that there’s only one cure.” In real life, this situation would be unthinkable. In a life-or-death situation, most people would accept the doctor’s word that there’s only one available treatment. But many people reject the message that there’s only one way to eternal salvation—through Jesus—and only one guide to living life: the Bible. How are you relying on God’s Word when the enemy attacks your soul? *🪁🔰Sunday* » Read Hebrews 4:12. » God knows our hearts. He knows when someone is searching for truth, even if they may think they believe differently. His Word will cut through all our5 misunderstandings and will put us on the right path to salvation through Jesus. » Your friend Tiffany is one of the nicest people you know. She’s always cheerful and pleasant, she’s kind to everyone, she likes to get involved in activities that will make the world a better place, such as raising money for the homeless or starting a recycling program. You ask if she’d like to come to church with you, but she says, “I believe Jesus was a good man, but I don’t think He was God. I think God is in all of us; God is whatever you want Him to be. And I don’t think I’m a sinner, so why do I need to be saved?” » “The children of God are those who are partakers of His nature. It is not earthly rank, nor birth, nor nationality, nor religious privilege, which proves that we are members of the family of God; it is love, a love that embraces all humanity. Even sinners whose hearts are not utterly closed to God’s Spirit, will respond to kindness” (Ellen G. White, Thoughts From the Mount of Blessing, p. 75). » Why is it important that you help Tiffany understand that she needs Jesus? How do you respond toy her beliefs? How can you share your beliefs in a way that would be meaningful to her? *🪁🔰Monday* » Read Psalm 119:105; Luke 24:44-47; John 5:39. » The Bible leads us to a knowledge of Jesus, and it is only through Jesus that we can be saved. After His death Jesus used the Scriptures to help His followers understand the meaning of His life and death. He shows us through Scriptures that salvation comes only through Him (see John 3:16). » How can we get a deep understanding of God’s Word? _____ » The Bible is the Word of God and can be trusted as the authentic record that reveals God’s character, His law, and His will for our lives. How do you make time each day to prayerfully read, study, and memorize the Scriptures? ______ *🪁🔰Tuesday* » Read Proverbs 3:5, 6. » “None but those who have fortified the mind with the truths of the Bible will stand through the last great conflict” (Ellen G. White, The Great Controversy, p. 593). » As Christian young people we need to stand firm on the Bible as our authority. The Word of God doesn’t change. Basing your beliefs and your actions on God’s Word will give you solid ground to stand firm in a world with shifting values. » How do you use the Holy Scriptures to make decisions about what is right and wrong? ______ *🪁🔰Wednesday* » Use the reference list below to match and write the correct reference next to its corresponding verse. All Bible passages are taken from the New King James Version. 1. “He is a shield.” 2. “Light to my path.” 3. “In all your ways acknowledge Him.” 4. “When you received the word of God . . .” 5. “Your word is truth.” 6. “Taking heed according to Your word.” 7. “For instruction in righteousness . . .” 8. “Through the patience and comfort of the Scriptures . . .” 9. “The word of God is living and powerful.” Hebrews 4:12 John 17:17 2 Timothy 3:16, 17 Psalm 119:9, 10 Romans 15:4 Proverbs 30:5, 6 Psalm 119:105 Proverbs 3:5, 6 1 Thessalonians 2:13 *🪁🔰Thursday* » Read Isaiah 8:20. » Review the memory text. » You face choices every day. Whom do you trust to give you guidance with those choices? The Bible is the inspired Word of God, and in it you can find guidance, comfort, encouragement, moral compass, and the faith of Jesus that you need for salvation. Ask God to answer your questions through the Holy Scriptures. Wait for Him to answer, and listen to His voice as you study His Word. » “The people of God are directed to the Scriptures as their safeguard against the influence of false teachers and the delusive power of spirits of darkness. . . . So closely will the counterfeit resemble the true that it will be impossible to distinguish between them except by the Holy Scriptures. By their testimony every statement and every miracle must be tested” (Ellen G. White, The Great Controversy, p. 593). » God’s message of love and the Bible is for everyone. We live in a world today that offers more diversity in terms of people’s beliefs and cultures than ever before. Even though we need to respect others and remember that they have the same right to their beliefs as we do to ours, we can share Jesus with them by actions, and when asked, we can open to them the Words of Life as Jesus has revealed to us. For our witness to be effective, we need to spend time with Jesus daily and to immerse ourselves in the prayerful study of the Holy Scriptures. *🪁🔰Friday* » Read Psalm 119:105. » “To every soul will come the searching test: Shall I obey God rather than men? The decisive hour is even now at hand. Are our feet planted on the rock of God’s immutable word? Are we prepared to stand firm in defense of the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus?” (Ellen G. White, The Great Controversy, p. 593). » Think of a question or problem you are facing. What counsel do you find in God’s Word as you seek a solution to your question or problem? Look up some Bible verses. You may ask someone else to help you find answers in the Bible to your questions. How would you help someone else who is searching for answers to life’s difficult questions to find solutions in the Bible? Write down your answers and be prepared to help someone else. _______

*🪂👱🏻‍♀️👱🏻‍♀️Youth* – _15 - 18years_ *⛳GraceLink Sabbath School Lesson 7, 1st Quarter* *🧮Sabbath 7 February 15 2025* *💠One Of A Kind* *⛲🗃️Key text:* "Assuredly, I say to you, among those born of women there has not risen one greater than John the Baptist; but he who is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.” (Matthew 11:11) *🪄Commentary:* Matthew 3:1-17; Luke 1:5-23. The Desire of Ages (or Humble Hero), chapters 10; 11. *🕯️🔦flashlight* “ ‘And the child grew, and waxed strong in spirit, and was in the deserts till the day of his showing unto Israel.’ Before the birth of John, the angel had said, ‘He shall be great in the sight of the Lord, and shall drink neither wine nor strong drink; and he shall be filled with the Holy Ghost.’ God had called the son of Zacharias to a great work, the greatest ever committed to men” (The Desire of Ages, p. 100). *⁉️🤦‍♂️What do you think?* What does baptism symbolize? Now let’s take a look at what the Bible says about baptism. Match the statements with the corresponding Bible references: Christ’s death and resurrection __________________ Being dead to sin ___________________________ Being alive to God _________________________ Consecration to Christ’s service ______________ Covenant relationship with God ______________ Entrance into Christ’s spiritual kingdom _______ *Romans 6:11; Galatians 3:27-29; Mark 10:38; Colossians 2:12; Matthew 3:11; John 3:3, 5.* *⁉️🧏‍♀️did you know?* Now John [the Baptist] also was baptizing in Aenon near Salim, because there was much water there. And they came and were baptized’ (John 3:23). “Why did John the Baptist choose this particular place for his work of baptizing the people? The Bible tells us that it was ‘because there was much water there.’ But there’d be no reason to require a place where there was ‘much water’ if a mere sprinkling or pouring were the method used. Multiple Bible references to baptism throughout the New Testament show plainly that immersion was the one method used in the days of Christ and His apostolic church. Considering this matter from the point of view of language, the very word ‘baptism’ is from the Greek word baptisma, derived from the Greek verb baptizo meaning ‘to dip’ or ‘to immerse’ ” (Mark Finley, What the Bible Says About, p. 315). *🪁⛳INTO THE STORY* “In those days John the Baptist came preaching in the wilderness of Judea, and saying, ‘Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand!’ For this is he who was spoken of by the prophet Isaiah, saying: ‘The voice of one crying in the wilderness: “Prepare the way of the Lord; make His paths straight.”’ “Now John himself was clothed in camel’s hair, with a leather belt around his waist; and his food was locusts and wild honey. Then Jerusalem, all Judea, and all the region around the Jordan went out to him and were baptized by him in the Jordan, confessing their sins. “But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees coming to his baptism, he said to them, ‘Brood of vipers! Who warned you to flee from the wrath to come? Therefore bear fruits worthy of repentance, and do not think to say to yourselves, “We have Abraham as our father.” For I say to you that God is able to raise up children to Abraham from these stones. And even now the ax is laid to the root of the trees. Therefore every tree which does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire. His winnowing fan is in His hand, and He willy thoroughly clean out His threshing floor, and gather His wheat into the barn; but He will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.’ “Then Jesus came from Galilee to John at the Jordan to be baptized by him. And John tried to prevent Him, saying, ‘I need to be baptized by You, and are You coming to me?’ “But Jesus answered and said to him, ‘Permit it to be so now, for thus it is fitting for us to fulfill all righteousness.’ Then he allowed Him. “When He had been baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened to Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting upon Him. And suddenly a voice came from heaven, saying, ‘This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.’ ” (Matthew 3) *📤OUT OF THE STORY* 🚥What is the central message that John the Baptist is communicating? 🚥What is significant about baptism? Read the following Bible passages that offer more insight into the meaning of this symbolic act that represents a person’s commitment to God: Mark 1:9-11; Mark 16:16; Acts 2:37, 38, 41; Acts 8:36, 37; Romans 6:3, 4; Galatians 3:27; Titus 3:5; Matthew 28:19, 20. What important elements concerning baptism can you apply to your personal life? 🚥What lesson(s) will you take away from this lesson about baptism? 🚥If you could share one point about baptism with a friend, what would you share? 🚥When did you come to know Jesus and how would you describe your personal conversion story? Have you sealed your commitment to follow Jesus through baptism? *🥊Punch Lines* 🧲“For I say to you, that unless your righteousness exceeds the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven” (Matthew 5:20). 🧲“He who covers his sins will not prosper, but whoever confesses and forsakes them willu have mercy” (Proverbs 28:13). 🧲“Why do you call Me ‘Lord, Lord,’ and not do the things which I say?” (Luke 6:46). 🧲“But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth” (Acts 1:8). *🧏‍♀️🪄further insight* “In ourselves we are incapable of doing any good thing; but that which we cannot do will be wrought by the power of God in every submissive and believing soul.”—Ellen G. White, The Desire of Ages, p. 98 *🪁🔰Sabbath* Read Romans 6:1-6. By any measure, John the Baptist was one of the most interesting figures in the entire Bible. He looked different, dressed differently, and preached a unique message. (See Matthew 3:4.) Consider the importance of the message that John the Baptist preached. How was his calling people to repentance and baptism a part of John’s mission to prepare they way for the ministry of Jesus? _____ How is the conversion experience related to baptism? _____ “Baptism is a symbol of our union with Christ, the forgiveness of our sins, and our reception of the Holy Spirit” (Baptism, Seventh-day Adventist Fundamental Beliefs, no. 15).t Think about your conversion experience. When have you accepted Jesus in your heart? How has your life changed? How does baptism6 represent the conscious act of committing your life to Jesus and following His example to start a new life in Him? *🪁🔰Sunday* Read Matthew 3. Read the Into the Story section, then complete the Out of the Story questions. What are the requirements that God desires us to meet before baptism?Acts 2:38: _______________________________ Acts 8:36, 37: ____________________________ Matthew 28:19, 20: ______ *🪁🔰Monday* Read Galatians 3:27. Read this week’s Key Text. As compliments go, this is one of the best ones in the Bible. Jesus recognized the special role that John the Baptist played in preparing the way for His ministry. How do you prepare the way for the second coming of Jesus? Are you taking seriously your preparation for heaven? How are you helping someone else to prepare for Jesus’ soon return? ____________ *🪁🔰Tuesday* Read Luke 1:80. In today’s Flashlight quotation Ellen White notes that John the Baptist grew up far away from the city—actually, in the desert. She also noted about the education that is most favorable for character development: “The more quiet and simple the life of the child,—the more free from artificial excitement, and the more in harmony with nature,—the more favorable is it to physical and mental vigor and to spiritual strength” (Ellen G. White, The Desire of Ages, p. 74). Why do you think God chose such simple environments both for the upbringing of John the Baptist and for Jesus? ______ How did John’s simple upbringing help him recognize and resist temptation and sin? ______ *🪁🔰Wednesday* Read Romans 5:8. Read the Punch Lines for this week. John was calling people to repentance and was baptizing them. However, it was the work of the Holy Spirit to convict people of sin and help them to live a new life through Christ. How do the believers who are being baptized need an extra measure of God’s Holy Spirit? ______ Have you experienced the influence of the Holy Spirit in your life in an abundant measure? Ask for the Holy Spirit so that He may enable you to live a new life for Jesus *🪁🔰Thursday* Read Acts 22:16. This week you have been studying about the life and ministry of John the Baptist, the man chosen by God to prepare the way for Jesus’ public ministry. Why do you think it was necessary for John to baptize Jesus publicly? ______ Have you been baptized? If you have not, what’s stopping you? ______ *🪁🔰Friday* Read Mark 16:16. Ellen White wrote of John the Baptist: “John was to go forth as Jehovah’s messenger, to bring to men the light of God. He must give a new direction to their thoughts. He must impress them with the holiness of God’s requirements, and their need5 of His perfect righteousness” (The Desire of Ages, p. 100). What impression are you leaving on those who6 know you? How can you inspire in someone the desire to commit his or her life to Jesus through baptism? ______ *🪁🔰This week’s reading* The Desire of Ages (or Humble Hero), chapters 10; 11. Humble Hero is a special adaptation of The Desire of Ages, created by the Ellen G. White Estate and Pacific Press®️.

Your parents have taken you to Sabbath School and church regularly. You know many Bible memory verses and Scripture songs. You love Jesus very much. But now someone is asking you why you believe Jesus is the Son of God. How will you answer? Jesus asked His disciples a similar question. *🪁⛳Here they were, heading for Caesareaf* Philippi. Jesus and the disciples walked past the familiar sites of Galilee in Judea and entered foreign territory. They could see the signs of idolatry everywhere. Jesus longed to help His disciples understand their responsibility toward the surrounding nations who didn’t believe in the true God. Would TV they be able to understand Jesus’ mission to save everyone, including the Gentiles, whom the Jews despised? Would they understand that Jesus would suffer and die to save them from their sins? The time was fast approaching when their beloved Master would be taken away from them to be nailed to a cross and die. For this reason Jesus wanted to spend time with His disciples. Jesus turned off the dusty road and led the way through a grassy field to some shade trees beside the stream. As Jesus and His disciples sat in the shade, He gave them an opportunity to affirm their belief in Him. He asked them a question: “Who do men say that I, the Son of Man, am?” Jesus knew that if the disciples acknowledged Him as the Messiah, their faith would be strengthened for the difficult times that were ahead. “Some say John the Baptist, some Elijah, and others Jeremiah or one of the prophets,” they answered. Jesus sighed. All those answers showed that people believed Him to be a prophet. But they had failed to recognize that He was truly God. Jesus turned to His disciples and asked them, “But who do you say at at I am?” The disciples looked at one another. Peter felt impressed to give an answer. So he answered Jesus, saying, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” This answer met the reassuring response of Jesus’ approval. “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven,” Jesus told him (Matthew 16:13-17). Although Peter stated his belief in Jesus as the Messiah and the Son of God, the disciples didn’t yet have a clear ideas of Christ’s mission. Their ideas about the mission of the Messiah were still rooted in the false teaching of the scribes and Pharisees. They still hoped that Jesus would declare Himself king and overthrow the Roman government. How far from the truth were these hopes in light of the true purpose of Jesus’ ministry. He didn’t come to be served, but to serve. He didn’t come to conquer through force, but to love unconditionally. He didn’t seek revenge for injustice, but came to heal, forgive, and restore. Jesus didn’t want anyone to perish. His greatest desire was to save from the clutches of sin everyone who would believe in Him. To accomplish our salvation, Jesus was even willing to sacrifice His own life. Jesus gazed into the distance. There was still so much to teach the disciples and His followers here on earth. They didn’t understand yet what was going to happen. He had to go to Jerusalem, and there He would suffer and die on a cross. Then He would rise again on the third day. Think of the disciples and how their life changed after they came to recognize that Jesus was the Son of God. Their entire life received a whole new meaning and purpose. Their life’s mission became focused on sharing that Jesus was the promised Messiah. Think about what it means to you that Jesus is “the Christ, the Son of the living God.” How has knowing Jesus changed you? Are you willing to trust Him with everything in your life? *🪂👧🏽Kindergarten* – _4-6years_ *⛳GraceLink Sabbath School Lesson 7, 1st Quarter* *🧮Sabbath 7, February 15 2025* *💠Who Is Your Neighbor?* *⛲🗃️Memory Verse:* “Love your neighbor as yourself” (Luke 10:27, NIV). *📲The Message:* God wants us to show love to everyone. *🔰REFERENCES* Luke 10:25-37; The Desire of Ages, pp. 497-505. *⁉️Who is your neighbor?* Is it the person who lives next door to you? Jesus said that to be a good neighbor means more than that! *🪁⛳One day Jesus was talking to a crowd* of people. A teacher of the law in the crowd asked Him a question. “What do I have to do to live forever?” “What does it say in the law?” Jesus asked kindly. “The law says to love the Lord with all your heart,” the teacher answered, “and love your neighbor as you love yourself. But who is my neighbor?” Then Jesus told this story. “A man was traveling from Jerusalem to the city of Jericho. You all know that dangerous road. Robbers like to hide there.” The people nodded. They all knew which road Jesus was talking about. “Well,” Jesus said,“ a group of robbers attacked the traveler. They tore off his clothes. They beat him. They stole his money. Then they left him lying there, almost dead. “Along came a priest,” Jesus said. “He saw the poor man, beaten and bleeding. But he turned his head and walked by on the other side of the road. “A little later a Levite came by. He may have heard the poor traveler moaning in pain. The man was so dirty and bloody! The Levite wrinkled up his nose and hurried away. “Not long after that, a Samaritan man riding a donkey came down the road. The Samaritan rushed over to see if he could help. “The Samaritan knelt down beside the wounded man. He carefully washed his cuts and put bandages on them. Then he helped the poor traveler up onto his own donkey and slowly led the donkey to town. “The Samaritan took the injured man to an inn. ‘Please take care of this man,’ he said to the innkeeper. ‘Here is some money. If you spend more, I will give you more when I come back.’”Then Jesus looked at the teacher. “Which of those three men was a neighbor to the traveler?” He asked. The man knew the answer. “The one who took care of him,” he answered. “That’s exactly right!” Jesus said with a big smile. “Go, and do the same thing.” It doesn’t matter what people look like or talk like or smell like. Jesus asks us to help our neighbor—anyone who needs help. Let’s be like the good Samaritan. *🧚‍♂️Do and Say* *🪁🧚‍♂️Sabbath* Each day this week, read the lesson story together, and review the memory verse by using the following motions. *Love.* . . . . . . . . . . . . . 5 *your neighbor.* . . . . . Point *as yourself..* . . . . . . . *Luke 10:27.* . . . . . . . Palms together, then open. *🪁🧚‍♂️Sunday* Together, read Luke 10:25-37. Say: “We call this ‘The Good Samaritan’ story. Why was the Samaritan man good? Do you think it mattered to him where the wounded man was from?” Help your child name and count people they know who are from different countries. *🪁🧚‍♂️Monday* Have your child share their “Love Your Neighbor” House made in Sabbath School. (Or help them draw a picture of a house and write the memory verse on it.) Let them share it with a “neighbor” and tell that person the Bible story. Thank Jesus for His love that you can share with others. *🪁🧚‍♂️Tuesday* Look in magazines or books for pictures of people from different countries. Notice their different clothing, hair and skin color, etc. Then talk about how they are similar to you. Ask Jesus to help you show love to everyone, no matter where they live. *🪁🧚‍♂️Wednesday* Ask your child to name some people who do helping jobs for others (doctor, nurse, firefighter, police officer, missionary pilot, pastor, etc.). Have your child role-play their favorite one. If possible, visit a fire station and thank the firefighters for the work they do. *🪁🧚‍♂️Thursday* Have your child put an adhesive bandage on you while you tell them about a time God used someone to help you. Sing a song about loving or helping others. *🪁🧚‍♂️Friday* Act out the story, using bandages or strips of cloth, a blanket, a pillow, etc. Plan to do something to help somebody. For example, drop off some food at a food bank, or visit a nursing home.

#GOD'S WORD BEFORE YOU EAT YOUR LUNCH 🥪 : Growth demands change. We cannot become who we are meant to be by clinging to our current selves. Many resist change, yet it is essential for our development. The truth is, while everyone expresses a desire to change the world and other people, few are willing to look within and change themselves. Proverbs 13:18 makes it clear: ignoring discipline leads to poverty and shame while embracing correction brings honour. It is the wise individuals who adapt and evolve for greater growth, while the foolish remain stagnant. #HAVE_A_BLESSED_AFTERNOON

Teach your children to pray so that if their little hearts feel heavy, they can go to God and not the world.
