Fathers play a unique role in shaping their kids' lives, and their presence can have a lasting impact. Why Father’s Presence? • *Builds trust and confidence*: When fathers are present, children feel seen, heard, and valued. • *Fosters emotional intelligence*: Dads can help kids develop emotional intelligence by being attuned to their feelings and needs. • *Creates lasting memories*: Shared experiences and moments with dad become cherished memories that last a lifetime. *Being Present Doesn’t Have To Be Perfect!* • *Show up*: Be there for milestones, school events, and everyday moments. • *Listen actively*: Give your child your full attention, and show interest in their life. • *Be involved*: Participate in activities, hobbies, and interests that bring you and your child joy. * Don't be an absentee Father. * Create time to be in your child's life. * Be their role model. * Don't just provide the money for their upkeep, create time to be with them. * Bond with your children when they are still very young to avoid you being lonely at old age. * Your presence has a positive impact on their Social, psychological and Emotional development. Happy Father's Day! to All the WOMEN out there playing the role of Fathers in the lives of their children. My heart goes out specifically today to celebrate and appreciate all Daughters and Women who are also Fathers in their homes. I celebrate all the Daughters out there who are playing the role of fathers in their families.. You are doing a job that is outside your scope of responsibility and duty as a woman. Sometimes you are overwhelmed and burn out, yet you refuse to give up because of Love and sense of responsibility. Your sacrifices in the family are sometimes ignored, overlooked and not appreciated enough to encourage you to do more, yet without motivation from anyone you do what you do because of Love. You sometimes long for just a 'Thank You' but you get complaints instead. I choose to celebrate you specially today and I want you to know that you are Loved! On behalf of your family and Children I say a very big THANK YOU to you for all you did and still doing. I pray for you today that; The Lord bless you and keep you in good health. May the Lord remember your labour of love and reward you for all your sacrifices. May you live to eat the fruit of your labour over your family. May you not be absent from the celebration of your children's achievements in life in Jesus name. Amen. Once again Happy Father's Day to You in that space.
