*FROM FAR TO NEAR* _By Pastor Wilberforce Bezudde_ *¹²That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world: ¹³But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.* - _Ephesians 2:12-13 (KJV)_ Today’s reading reminds us of who we used to be. We were once far from everything that truly mattered, far from God, far from His promises, far from hope. We were just surviving, not truly living. Our souls were empty, our paths uncertain, and our hearts restless. The Word of God tells us clearly, we were without Christ. That truth cuts deep. Without Him, we were outsiders, aliens to God’s people and strangers to His promises. We had no real hope and no direction. Even when things looked good on the outside, something was still missing on the inside. We tried to fill the void with ambition, relationships, and success, but none of those things could reach the depths of our true need. But then came Jesus. Oh, how powerful that small phrase is: *“But now in Christ Jesus…”* It changed everything. It rewrote our story. Praise God! Jesus brought us near by His blood. He didn’t just make us better, He gave us life. He didn’t just clean us up, He brought us into His family. We are no longer outsiders; we belong. We are no longer strangers; we are children of promise. We are no longer hopeless; we have a future secured in Him. _Child of God; this nearness came at a cost. The blood of Jesus was the price He paid to bring us close. That’s how much He wanted us. That’s how far He was willing to go. Now, we no longer live in the shadows of the past but in the light of God’s grace. We live as those who have been brought near to God, not because we deserved it, but because of Jesus’ sacrifice. We are part of something greater: God’s family, His covenant, and His kingdom._ Hallelujah! Jesus is Lord! *Today’s Prayer:* Thank You Jesus, for bringing me near when I was far. Thank You for including me when I was excluded. Thank You for giving me hope when I had none. Dear Holy Spirit, help me never to forget where I came from, so that I always treasure where Jesus brought me. Let my life reflect His grace and His love every single day. Amen!

*CULTIVATING A RELATIONSHIP, NOT JUST REQUESTS* _By Pastor Wilberforce Bezudde_ *⁷If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you* - _John 15:7 (KJV)_ Prayer should not be reduced to a level of transaction where we seek God only when we need something from Him. A healthy relationship with God includes moments of fellowship. Times when we just sit in His presence to adore, worship, and listen. When we approach prayer only with requests, we miss out on intimacy with the Father. Imagine a child who only speaks to their parent when they need money or help. That’s not a relationship; that’s a transaction. *God longs for us to know Him, not just seek His hand but also His heart.* Jesus often withdrew to pray, not only to ask, but also to abide. He showed us that prayer is about connection, not just petitions. The more time we spend with God, the more our hearts align with His will, and our prayers shift from *"Lord, give me"* to *"Lord, change me."* That space in prayer will produce more than when we just request without loving on the lord. _Child of God; Our Father is about to do great and mighty things in your life. Get ready for powerful testimonies, great moves of God, the outpouring of his blessing than ever. This is the time! Prepare yourself by cultivating a deeper relationship with Him. Don’t allow anything to stand in the way of the blessing. His provision is bigger than any need on the planet._ Hallelujah! Jesus is Lord! *Deeper Study:* Luke 5:16 Psalm 27:4 Matthew 6:33 *Today’s Prayer:* Dear Holy Spirit, teach me to seek the Father’s heart, and not just His hand. Help me to desire fellowship with Him above all else. May my life reflect a heart that longs for Him, not just for what He can give, but for who He is. In Jesus’ Name, Amen!

*RECEIVE THE MIND OF THE HOLY GHOST* _By Pastor Wilberforce Bezudde_ *⁸But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.*- _Acts 1:8 (KJV)_ The disciples of Jesus Christ were fishermen and tax collectors. Their thoughts were once filled with the things of this world, strive, negativity, anger, selfishness competition, failure, fear and so forth. Their thoughts weren’t in line with the assignment a head of them, and the world despised them, but when they became filled with the Holy Spirit, they received joy, power, grace, peace, freedom, boldness, wisdom, courage, creativity; their minds were renewed and hearts were completed transformed. They turned into witnesses for Jesus and spread His gospel throughout Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and to the ends of the earth. Peter denied Jesus 3 times but when he was filled with the Holy Spirit, he brought 3,000 people to Christ in one day. He healed the paralyzed man at the gate beautiful. Another time Peter preached repentance to 5,000. The Holy Spirit transformed Peter into one of the greatest men ever lived. When we get filled with the Holy Spirit, we receive the thoughts of the Holy Spirit. His thoughts become our thoughts. We begin to believe like Him, feel, see, reason and become as creative as He is. Consequently we begin to see results that reflect the mind and the creativity of the Holy Spirit. That’s why Jesus said, *“ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you”* We become powerful when we receive transformation by the renewing of our minds. The Holy Spirit renews our minds and revives us to his standard. _Child of God; I pray that you will allow the Holy Spirit to transform you and revive you to a higher life._ Hallelujah! Jesus is Lord! *Today’s Prayer:* Dear Holy Spirit, touch my mind in a special way. Infuse in me Your own mind; teach me to think like You do. Give me Your joy, power, grace, peace, boldness, wisdom, freedom, courage and, creativity. Awaken me to Your standard and give me an experience of a higher life. Amen!
