*CREATED FOR HIS PLEASURE* _By Pastor Wilberforce Bezudde_ *¹⁶For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:* _Colossians 1:16 (KJV)_ Today’s reading reminds us of a powerful truth, everything that exists was created by Jesus Christ, and everything exists for His purpose and pleasure. There is nothing in heaven or on earth, seen or unseen, that is outside of His creative authority. One essential observation from this passage is that all things were created for His pleasure. This includes us. We are part of His creation, which means our very existence has divine purpose. *Revelation 4:11 (KJV)* confirms this by declaring, *“Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.”* Our original purpose has not changed—and it never will. God created us for His pleasure, and His pleasure is not found in our suffering or destruction, but in our wholeness and worship. He delights in our well-being, in spirit, soul, and body. The Scriptures make this plain. *Psalm 35:27 (KJV)* proclaims, *“...Let the LORD be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant.”* God is glorified not through our pain or torment but through our flourishing as His servants. God does not delight in the sickness, poverty, fear, or lack of His people. Rather, His heart is for us to be whole, spiritually alive, emotionally stable, and physically well. His pleasure is in our wellness, and in that state of wellness, we are most capable of serving and glorifying Him. Child of God, notice this: You were created with divine intention. 1.Nothing about your existence is random. Christ created you for Himself. 2.God delights in your well-being. Your joy, peace, and health are part of God’s good design for your life. You bring God pleasure when you live fully in Him. When you worship, serve, and live in wholeness, God is pleased. *Further study:* Isaiah 43:7 3John 1:2 Hallelujah! Jesus is Lord! *Today’s Prayer:* Lord Jesus, thank You for creating me with purpose and pleasure in mind. Help me to walk in the fullness of Your design for my life.
