Comrade Rose Tunguru, On that Madaraka morning, I didn’t visit a prisoner, I stood beside a patriot and a heroine. Your courage, clarity, and defiance in the face of injustice reminded me what this Republic was meant to be. You are not alone in this fight. You are the embodiment of a new generation refusing to bow to silence and impunity. The Constitution of Kenya is safer because of citizens like you. The future is bright because of fighters like you. Let this victory be one among many in our march toward justice and a restoration of our Republic. Let them know that Kenya is awakening. And when the people rise, no cell can hold them. Following our formal complaint, KeNHA has confirmed Busia County government erected unauthorized road signs outside the Governor’s office, used to impose illegal fines of up to KSH 20,000 and disrupt cross-border trade. They’ve now ordered the immediate removal of the signs and instructed the County to follow due legal process. Public roads cannot be privatized or turned into toll points by rogue actors. We are guarding Kenya’s role as East Africa’s trade gateway, and protecting the rights of motorists, traders, and citizens.

I have received reports on the adbuction of Edward Kipchumba Terer, a medical lab technologist taken in broad daylight, by state security officers, while working in Sambalat, Kerio Valley on June 2nd. Two weeks later, he remains missing. No communication. No charges. No accountability. This is not a personal tragedy, it is a national crisis of justice. When a government fails to account for a citizen it has allegedly detained, it crosses from lawful authority into tyranny. Kenya is a constitutiomal democracy; not a police state. We uphold the rule of law or we are nothing. The government must immediately account for Mr. Terer’s whereabouts, guarantee his safety, and come clean to the public. I stand with the people of Megun, Kapseret, and the wider Uasin Gishu County, with Edward’s family, and with every Kenyan who demands truth, dignity, and justice. We must not be silent. We must not blink. And we will not forget. WE DEMAND FOR EDWARD TERER. #FreeEdwardTerer
