*OBITUARY - MRS. EVELYN NMEIYO BANNERMAN* It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of MLS. Evelyn Nmeiyo Bannerman, 60yrs, affectionately known as Maafio, a cherished colleague and retired Medical Laboratory Scientist. She was the beloved wife of Dr. Robert Bannerman (Rtd.). Mrs. Bannerman retired in November 2024 after many years of dedicated service to the profession and community at the VRA Hospital, Akosombo. Mrs. Bannerman passed away on January 22, 2025, at the University of Ghana Medical Centre (UGMC) after battling a complicated ovarian cyst for nearly two years. Details of her funeral arrangements will be communicated in due course. Let us keep the husband and her family in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
