THE STORY BOOK BANK PROJECT by TTAG-EGA & AASU The Story Book Bank is an initiative designed to address educational gaps in Ghana, particularly in African history, environmental sustainability, and emerging technologies. The mission is to foster a love for reading and deepen children's understanding of their cultural heritage. On December 27, 2024, the Eastern and Greater Accra Sector of the Teacher Trainees' Association of Ghana (TTAG-EGA) and the All-Africa Students UNION (AASU) visited Echoing Hills Village, Ghana to launch this project, which aims to reach 10,000 children across Ghana within two years. The theme, "1 Child, 1 Book; Multiple Possibilities," emphasizes the importance of providing culturally relevant and educationally enriching storybooks to students from primary one to six, including out-of-school children. As the visit coincided with the festive season, they also donated some items to help the children celebrate Christmas joyfully. Building A Formidable TTAG-EGA For All DETERMINED TO DO MORE!
