RAGI CHOCOLATE CAKE Ingredients 🫶🏻1 cup yogurt 🫶🏻½ tsp baking soda 🫶🏻½ cup butter, melted 🫶🏻¾ cup jaggery powder 🫶🏻½ tsp vanilla extract 🫶🏻¼ cup milk 🫶🏻½ cup ragi flour 🫶🏻½ cup whole wheat flour 🫶🏻¼ cup cocoa powder 🫶🏻1 tsp baking powder For the ganache 🫶🏻½ cup dark chocolate, chopped 🫶🏻½ cup fresh cream, warm Instructions 1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees celsius and prepare a 5 inch tin with parchment paper. ⁠2. In a bowl add yogurt and baking soda. Let it foam up and set it aside. ⁠3. In a separate bowl , add melted butter and jaggery powder. Mix it well and then add the foamed up yogurt and milk. ⁠4. Now, add in the dry ingredients - ragi flour, wholewheat flour, cocoa powder and baking powder. Mix everything together. ⁠5. Bake the cake for 30-35 minutes or until toothpick inserted comes out clean. ⁠6. For the ganache , Add warm cream over chopped dark chocolate and let it sit for a while. Combine it together using a whisk. 7. Once the cake has cooled down, Pour the ganache on the top.
