Did you know children are also sucsetible to mental breakdown down? In commemoration of the International Day of Education, @dictacareinitiative alongside Dr. Samuel Ogbadu, a dedicated volunteer, organized an impactful educational outreach program for pupils at Sharing Prosperity Nursery and Primary School, New Kuchigoro IDP Camp. The program featured mental health awareness, chess lessons with prizes for the top players, distribution of educational materials, and shared snacks and drinks. Through these activities, the initiative sought to promote not only academic growth but also mental well-being, creativity, and a sense of community amongst the pupils. The mental health awareness session highlighted the importance of emotional resilience, while the chess lessons encouraged critical thinking and strategic problem-solving. By distributing educational materials and sharing refreshments, the program reinforced the message that every child deserves support, care, and opportunities, no matter their circumstances.
