Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC) Protests Across Balochistan Against Baloch Genocide
The Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC) organized protests in multiple cities across Balochistan today, condemning state repression, enforced disappearances, and extrajudicial killings. The systematic targeting of scholars, students, and activists in Balochistan has reached alarming levels, with enforced disappearances occurring daily, instilling fear and trauma among affected families. The BYC calls on all sections of society to raise their voices against these ongoing human rights violations.

Turbat Protest Camp
On February 9, 2025, the BYC launched a three-day awareness camp in Turbat, Kech, to highlight the alarming rise in extrajudicial killings and targeted assassinations across Balochistan.
Shaal Protest
The BYC Shaal Zone led a rally demanding justice for the forced abduction of Asma Jatak, the extrajudicial killing of Baloch scholar Allah Dad, and the enforced disappearance of Mubarak and Hafiz Baloch.
Mastung Shutter-Down Strike
The BYC Mastung Zone called for a shutter-down strike to protest the abduction of Asma Baloch in Khuzdar and the killing of Allah Dad in Turbat.
Kalat Shutter-Down Strike
The BYC Kalat Zone also organized a shutter-down strike in response to the abduction of Asma Baloch in Khuzdar and the extrajudicial killing of Allah Dad in Turbat.
Nushki Protest
The BYC Nushki Zone held a protest rally from Mir Gul Khan Naseer Library to the Nushki Press Club, condemning state-backed death squads for their involvement in enforced disappearances and extrajudicial killings. Protesters included victims’ families, political activists, and members of civil society, all demanding accountability.
Dalbandin Protest
The BYC Chaghi Zone organized a protest rally in Dalbandin against the abduction of Asma Baloch by death squads in Khuzdar, the extrajudicial killing of Baloch scholar Allah Dad in Turbat, and the enforced disappearance of Mubarak and Hafiz Baloch by state security forces in Kharan.
Chagai Protest
A protest rally was also held in Chagai, where BYC activists condemned state-backed death squads for their involvement in enforced disappearances, targeted killings, and what they described as an ongoing Baloch genocide.
Yakmach Protest
The BYC Chaghi Zone organized a demonstration in Yakmach against the escalating wave of enforced disappearances, the abduction of Asma Baloch, the extrajudicial killing of Baloch scholar Allah Dad, and the disappearance of Mubarak and Hafiz Baloch by state institutions in Kharan.
