Last night, around 3:00 AM, security forces raided homes in Pasni, district Gwadar, conducting search operations and forcibly disappearing Maqbool Akram and Naseeb Swali from Ward No. 6. These acts of state brutality adds to the growing list of enforced disappearances, intensifying fear and distress among the people of Balochistan. The enforced disappearance of youth has become a systematic tool of oppression. We strongly condemn these abductions and demand the immediate release of Maqbool Akram and Naseeb Swali. The Baloch Yakjehti Committee urges human rights organizations, media, and civil society to break their silence and hold the state accountable for its ongoing atrocities in Balochistan.
