Second-Day Report of Kech Protest Camp Against Extrajudicial Killings Date: February 10, 2025 Location: Shaheed Fida Chowk, Turbat, Kech BYC, on the second day of the organized protest camp at Shaheed Fida Chowk, Turbat, undertook to raise awareness about the State’s systematic policy of enforced disappearances and extrajudicial killings. Several victim families joined the peaceful sit-in demanding accountability and the safe return of their loved ones. Despite registering cases (FIRs) with police and administration, there is no progress towards dispensing justice. This inaction reflects the deliberate complicity of the State and its authorities in the Baloch genocide. A total of 13 families participated, representing loved ones who have either been forcibly disappeared or extra-judicially killed. Victims of Enforced Disappearances: 1. Waseem Mallang 2. Shaheed Zareef Baloch The families present at the camp shared their anguish and frustration over the lack of action by State authorities to address these grave human rights violations. The demands of the protesting families are: * The immediate and safe recovery of all forcibly disappeared persons. * A transparent and independent investigation into extrajudicial killings. * Accountability for those responsible for such human rights violations. * Justice and compensation for the affected families. This protest is part of a larger movement advocating for fundamental human rights in Balochistan. The families have vowed to continue their struggle until their demands are met.
