Over the past month, our #ameos conducted checks on retailers in Yishun, Canberra and Ubi and impounded 20 non-compliant devices. A total of 29 offences were detected, such as: ❌ Displaying and keeping non-compliant devices ❌ Failure to affix identification mark on personal mobility devices and; ❌ Failure to affix registration plate on a power-assisted bicycle. LTA will continue to take firm action against errant retailers who supply non-compliant devices. We also continue to enforce against errant active mobility users.
