This Chinese New Year’s Eve, our community came together in a gesture of care and connection. PAP Yio Chu Kang activists packed warm meals, each box carrying not just food, but the reminder that someone out there is thinking of them. Activists knocked on doors, engaging our residents, asking, “How are you doing?” With every delivery, we shared more than a reunion dinner — we shared a bridge back to belonging. Because here in Yio Chu Kang, family isn’t bound by bloodlines or walls; it’s in the small acts of showing up for one another.
