University of Dar es Salaam student Careen Ndika won the European Union Youth Debate Contest Careen Ndika emerged as the winner in a competition that featured 20 finalists who had advanced to the semi-finals. In second place was Diana Abdi from Dar es Salaam Tumaini University (DarTU), while Kija Faraja from the University of Dar es Salaam secured third place. The three winners were awarded a fully funded trip to Poland, sponsored by the Embassy of Poland. The competition had more than 400 participants.
