This is what Toretsk looks like today. Once a thriving city in the Donetsk region, it now lies in ruins. Homes destroyed, lives shattered — all devastated by Russia's war against Ukraine. Since the start of the full-scale invasion, thousands of people in Toretsk have lost almost everything. Some have even lost their lives. Russia isn't stopping. Every day, it launches new attacks, destroying cities, towns and villages, killing civilians and bringing more suffering. The only way to end this war is through real action. That means stronger sanctions to cut off Russia's ability to wage war, deeper isolation to weaken its influence, and more military support to ensure Ukraine can defend itself. The world must act now.
