🌈 Kyiv marched with Pride again — and even louder. For the second year running, Ukraine has held an Equality March amid Russia's full-scale invasion. Over 1,500 people joined the march, including LGBTQ+ representatives, veterans, students, diplomats, and allies — all united in the fight for freedom and equal rights. The march began with a moment of silence for those killed by Russia's war of aggression. And it ended with hope and determination. Ukraine is a nation of free people 🇺🇦

Ukraine continues to bring its people back home 🇺🇦 Today marks the fourth prisoner exchange in just one week. Among those returned are defenders who've been held in captivity since 2022 — from the Armed Forces, National Guard, Border Guard Service and the State Special Transport Service. Ukraine will not stop until every single person held in Russian captivity is free. No one will be left behind. Grateful to all making this possible 💙💛

Overnight, Russia launched a massive combined missile and drone attack on the Poltava region. In the Kremenchuk community, explosions hit energy and agricultural infrastructure. Fires broke out, damaging residential buildings and civilian vehicles. Thankfully, there were no casualties. This is yet another calculated strike on Ukraine's civilian infrastructure — Russia's deliberate attempt to weaken, destabilise and intimidate. Ukraine needs strong global action and unwavering support to protect its people and restore peace.

In July 2022, Russian forces destroyed two monumental mosaics in Mariupol: 'Boryviter' and 'Tree of Life', created in 1967 by Alla Horska and Viktor Zaretskyi. Now, 'Boryviter' — meaning 'kestrel' — has been carefully recreated in Kyiv using 1,250 pieces and over 700 kg of salvaged materials from across Ukraine and abroad. From smalt and tiles to aluminium spoons, every element tells a story of resilience. 🎨 The project was initiated by Ukraine WOW and ROZETKA, in partnership with the Fund of Alla Horska and Viktor Zaretskyi. It brought together 15 artists and researchers, led by Alla Horska's granddaughter Olena Zaretska and cultural manager Anastasiia Ishchenko. It took six weeks of intense work to complete the mobile installation. Alla Horska was a Ukranian artist, dissident and one of the most prominent figures of the Ukrainian Sixtiers movement. She was known not only for her mosaics and monumental works, but also for her courageous human rights activism. She was murdered by the Soviet regime in 1970 at just 41 years old — but her voice and vision live on through her art.

🫂 A father's love never wavers, not even in times of war. Whether they are on the on the front line, at home, in captivity or in hospital, Ukrainian fathers carry their families and their country in their hearts. They protect, guide, and love their children even when separated by Russia's war of aggression. Today, we celebrate all Ukrainian fathers: those raising children in shelters, those returning home to open arms, those longing for that return, and those who have given their lives for their families. Your courage is shaping Ukraine's future. Happy Father's Day 💛💙

Matvii Strohaliev, a 12-year-old from Ukraine, reached the world's best U14 pole vault mark 🌍 At the Ukrainian U14 Athletics Championships in Lviv, Matvii cleared an astonishing 4.00 metres — the highest result in the world for his age group! While world records aren't officially tracked for the U14 category, Matvii's jump surpasses Armand 'Mondo' Duplantis's previous best of 3.97 m (set indoors in 2012). Pole vaulting runs in the family: his mum is a European champion, his dad a world finalist, and his brother also competes. And now Matvii is making history of his own. 👏 Congratulations, Matvii! Ukraine is so proud! 🇺🇦

This is Oleksandr — before Russia's full-scale invasion and after spending three years in captivity. Standing beside him in both photos is his wife, Olena. Oleksandr joined Mariupol's territorial defence in the first days of Russia's full-scale invasion to protect his home. For that, he was captured by Russia — tortured, starved and stripped of his basic rights. This is what Russian captivity looks like. This is the price Ukrainians pay for standing up to aggression. Many others still remain in Russia's hands. We must bring them home.

💔 A wedding and a funeral – both in the same church, less than a year apart. On 1 June 2024, Andrii and Iryna stood here to marry. On 26 April 2025, Iryna returned to the same church – this time to honour her husband, killed in action just days earlier. Andrii Zadorozhnyi was 35. An officer in the drone unit of the 128th Mountain Assault Brigade, he was killed on Easter Sunday while defending Ukraine. Before the full-scale war, Andrii worked in IT as a Delivery Manager at GlobalLogic. Just days after Russia's full-scale invasion, he volunteered to serve. He was known for his sharp mind, quiet humour and thoughtful conversations – about literature, music, politics and army life. 💬 'I, Iryna, take you, Andrii, as my husband, and I promise you my love, faithfulness, honesty and marital devotion – and that I will not leave you until death. And after death, my beloved Andrii, you are forever – forever in my heart, my thoughts, and my story, until my very last breath,' wrote his wife, Iryna.
