🔆 Memory of World Register 📍 Context Three Indian literary works — Ramcharitmanas, Panchatantra, and Sahṛdayaloka-Locana — were added to UNESCO’s Memory of the World Asia-Pacific Regional Register. The decision was made during the 10th MOWCAP meeting in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. 📍 The Indian Literary Works 📜 Ramcharitmanas Composed by Goswami Tulsidas in the 16th century in the Awadhi language. Known as the "lake of the deed of Rama," it is a revered Hindu literary masterpiece. Divided into seven Kands (books): Bal Kand, Ayodhya Kand, Aranya Kand, Kiskindha Kand, Sundar Kand, Lanka Kand, and Uttar Kand. 🐾 Panchatantra An ancient collection of animal fables written by Pandit Vishnu Sharma. Known for its universal moral values and teachings through engaging stories. 🎭 Sahṛdayaloka-Locana A 15th-century work by Kashmiri scholars Acharya Anandvardhan and Abhinavagupta.
