🔆 Project PARI (Public Art of India) 📍 Launch & Execution: ✅ Launched by the Ministry of Culture at the 46th World Heritage Committee Meeting in New Delhi. ✅ Managed by Lalit Kala Akademi and the National Gallery of Modern Art. 📍 Objective: ✅ Enhance Delhi’s aesthetic and cultural landscape, inspired by India’s traditional art and modern themes. 📍 Contributions: ✅ Over 150 artists from across India, including many women artists, have created murals, sculptures, and installations. 📍 Art Styles Represented: ✅ Includes Phad (Rajasthan), Thangka (Sikkim/Ladakh), Miniature (Himachal Pradesh), Gond (Madhya Pradesh), Tanjore (Tamil Nadu), Kalamkari (Andhra Pradesh), Warli (Maharashtra), and more. 📍 Proposed Sculptures: ✅ Themes like nature, Natyashastra, Gandhi ji, Indian toys, hospitality, ancient knowledge, Naad (Primeval Sound), and Kalpataru (divine tree). #art_and_culture
