महोदय / Dear Sir,
As part of the New Continuous Clearing and on-realisation Settlement project introduced by Reserve Bank of India (RBI), changes have been implemented in our Data Center Systems to enable decentralization of outward clearing operations. To facilitate this process, Zonal Offices have provided sufficient scanners to all branches for seamless cheque scanning and processing. As per revised procedure, the data of outward clearing cheques will be entered/verified in CTS server and will be directly sent to clearing house. The existing procedure of entering data in HOCTM menu of finacle will be discontinued.
In this regard, We request all branches to:
Test the Outward Clearing functionality using the provided procedure and ensure that the system is functioning as expected.
Verify the end to end process, including cheque scanning, uploading and sytem confirmation.
Report any issues, discrepancies or challenges encountered during testing. Kindly provide detailed descriptions to assist in resolution.
Please cordinate with your respective Service branches, ZO GOD Department and ZO IT Department during this testing phase for any immediate support .
We request all branches to Scan maximum cheques on daily basis to ensure a smooth transition before the project goes live.
The New URL for Outward clearing in UAT is https://10.91.52.196/ctsOutward .
Note: The given URL is for Continuous outward Clearing tesing UAT environment. While scanning the test cases, make sure branches are using given URL for Continuous outward Clearing UAT.
Kindly find attach SOP for Outward scanning and RBI notification for same.All branches will use their existing User id and password for login in CTS and remaining branches where user id and CTS Scanner are not available kindly provide consolidated list to their Zonal IT/Zonal GOD. The Zonal IT department will consolidate the list of users to be given access to CTS server and send the same for registring the users.
