*Tasty Borewors and Vegetable Stir-Fry*
_by Rumbie from ZimboKitchen_
Sausage is one of those foods that you can easily fall into the same routine of preparing in the same limited way all the time. Here's one more idea of what you can do with it. 😋 . Enjoy!
Takes: 25 - 30min
Serves: 4-5
*Serving Suggestion:* Enjoy as a main with a sauce/ gravy and your preferred starch

*GET This*
*========*
500 g borewors
½ medium butternut, julienned
½ medium onion, sliced
2 tbsp honey
½ punnet, cauliflower, broken into medium florets
½ punnet green beans, ends removed and cut in half
¾ tsp salt
*=======*
*DO This*
*=======*
1. Get your ingredients together. Cut the sausage into small to medium sized pieces. Put them in a pan and try until browned. Remove from pan and set aside.
2. Put butternut, onion and honey into same pan. Reduce heat and fry until butternut is a little tender.
3. Add cauliflower, green beans and salt. Fry for about 5 min.
4. Return the sausage to the pan. Give a quick mix and allow to fry for another 5 min, allowing the flavours to marry. Enjoy!

Notes
*=======*
1. No oil is required for this recipe. However, if you really must, 1 tbsp will suffice!
2. I recommend you use your usual trusted sausage as we know some sausages are fatty or have cartilage in them which make it unpleasant in the end.
3. You may use other vegetables of your preference such as broccoli or mushroom or peppers.
4. Honey may be used in place of sugar. Do not hesitate adding the either as it does not overpower the dish at all but compliments the flavours.
